Priority patterns for subscriber identity modules

Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain data for transmission on a first subscriber identity module (SIM) that is preconfigured along with a second SIM for the UE, the first SIM being configured with a first fixed priority pattern of high priority durations and low priority durations for transmission. The UE may enable, based at least in part on the data, a first priority pattern for the first SIM that is different than the first fixed priority pattern. The UE may transmit the data from the first SIM using the first priority pattern. Numerous other aspects are described.
