The present disclosure relates to a method of performing operations for a User Equipment (UE) in a wireless communication system. In particular, the method includes steps of triggering a buffer status report (BSR); constructing at least one Medium Access Control (MAC) Protocol Data Unit (PDU) including all pending data; and transmitting the at least one MAC PDU on at least one available configured grant (CG) resource within a CG period, wherein the triggered BSR is canceled on a last CG resource of the at least one available CG, and wherein, based on the at least one available CG resource within the CG period is able to accommodate all pending data and being sufficient to additionally accommodate a BSR MAC Control Element (CE) plus its subheader, the BSR MAC CE plus its subheader is included in a MAC PDU transmitted on a last CG resource of the at least one available CG resource.
