Adjusting device and adjusting method

Abstract

The invention relates to an adjustment device (100) and a method for adjusting a torsion spring (210) prestressing the shaft (220) of a lifting door (200) to a desired tension. The adjustment device has connections (104, 130, 140) for connecting the end of the torsion spring (210), a torque wrench (300) and a rotating device (400) to the adjustment device (100). In the method, the torsion spring is tightened and the torque produced by the torsion spring is simultaneously measured. The torsion spring is at the desired tension when the torque substantially corresponds to the torque required to lift the lifting door (200).
