Title of the invention: Seat belt anchorage support supported by a longitudinal member and a longitudinal member.

[0001] The technical field relates to the anchoring supports for a seat belt, motor vehicle bodies equipped with such supports and motor vehicles having such a body.

[0002] In terms of road safety, car manufacturers must take into account numerous regulations when developing new vehicles to ensure the safety of vehicle passengers in the event of a collision. According to these regulations, each passenger in a vehicle must have a seat belt designed to restrain the passenger in the event of a crash. Each seat belt is secured to the vehicle by at least three anchor points, one of which is called the buckle anchor, located at the bottom of the belt.

On many vehicles, the rear seat belt buckle anchors are located on the rear wheel arches. Motor vehicle body (12) comprising at least one side member (6), at least one side member (9) and at least one wheel arch (10) and comprising at least one motor vehicle seat belt anchor bracket (1) designed to permit and reinforce the anchoring of a vehicle seat belt (2), the anchor bracket (1) comprising a first interface (5) designed to bear against and be fixed to said side member (6) of the vehicle, the bracket (1) further comprising a second interface (8) designed to bear against and be fixed to said side member (9) extending from the side member (6) and extending along said wheel arch (10) of the vehicle, the first (5) and second (8) interfaces being designed to ensure reinforcement of the connection between said side member (6) and said side member (9),the anchoring support (1) further comprising a third interface (16) designed to extend in support along a portion of said wheel arch (10) in contact with the side member (6) and the side member (9) and comprising anchoring means (17) to allow the belt (2) to be anchored to the third interface (16).

Motor vehicle body (12) comprising at least one longitudinal member (6), at least one longitudinal member (9) and at least one wheel arch (10) and comprising at least one anchoring support (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the support (1) comprises a central part (11), the first (5), second (8) and third (16) interfaces coming from material with the central part (11) and each extending from the central part (11).

Motor vehicle body (12) comprising at least one longitudinal member (6), at least one longitudinal member (9) and at least one wheel arch (10) and comprising at least one anchoring support (1) according to claim 2, characterized in that the central part (11) forms a platform (14) designed to support a rear floor (15) of the vehicle.

Motor vehicle body (12) comprising at least one longitudinal member (6), at least one longitudinal member (9) and at least one wheel arch (10) and comprising at least one anchoring support (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the anchoring means (17) comprise at least one fixing hole (18) dimensioned for to allow the attachment of a belt loop strand (3), the orifice (18) being disposed at one end (19) of the third interface (16).

Motor vehicle body (12) comprising at least one longitudinal member (6), at least one longitudinal member (9) and at least one wheel arch (10) and comprising at least one anchorage support (1) according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the support (1) is formed by stamping a sheet (4).

6. Carcass (12) according to any one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that it comprises two anchoring supports (1) welded to the carcass (12).
