Cap for sterilizing a sealed transfer bag and its contents in an autoclave

Abstract

This disclosure relates to a cap (14) for a container flange (3) (1) equipped with a door for closing the container (1), the door having radially internal tabs, this cap (14) comprising: – a body (16) equipped with a mounting ring (19) for attaching to the flange (3); – a gripping head having external tabs forming with the radially internal tabs of the door (4) a bayonet connection allowing the door to be coupled to the gripping head; – an operating member (47) linked in motion to the gripping head to move it in order to partially open the door when the cap (14) is attached to the flange (3); – a filter (18) for communicating the external environment with the interior of the flange (3) and the container (1).
