Abstract

Activation device for manually activated pressurized gas grenades used for self-defense and fire suppression, using an automatic pressurized gas grenade dispenser. The device allows for the relocation of the activation force of the pressurized gas grenade's activation system. This relocation of the activation force allows the installation of the large push button of the manually operated pressurized gas grenade in a space free from dimensional constraints. The present invention consists of a parallelepiped element (1) integrated against the two ends of the half-ring (8) initially intended to clamp the pressurized gas grenade by its stamped flange. The parallelepiped element has a translational guide (2) normal to its surface, into which a support rod (3) is integrated. The support rod is equipped at each end with a push button.The first push button (4) is designed to receive the force from the support cam (6) of the automatic diffuser activation system. Title of the invention: Push-button extension for automatic dispenser of pressurized gas bombs.

[0001] The present invention enables the activation of a manually operated pressurized gas bomb by an automatic pressurized gas bomb diffuser.

[0002] The use of this invention is intended for exclusive use with pressurized gas anti-aggression and fire-fighting bombs.

[0003] Automatic dispensers are designed to operate with pressurized gas canisters equipped with a specific narrow push button. Automatic dispensers are not compatible with manually activated pressurized gas canisters because these are equipped with a wide push button adapted to the anatomy of users' fingers.
