Abstract

AIRCRAFT PROTECTION SYSTEM The invention relates to an aircraft propulsion system (50) comprising: - a nacelle (100) having two cowlings (102) movable between a closed position and an open position, - for each cowling (102), an actuation system (110) arranged to move said cowling (102) from the open position to the closed position and vice versa, and - for each cowling (102), a holding system (120, 130) arranged to hold said cowling (102) in the open position. With such an arrangement, each cowling can be easily opened by the actuation system and held in the open position by the holding system, even when the core is absent. Fig. 3

Demands

1. A propulsion system (50) of an aircraft (10) comprising: - a nacelle (100) having two cowls (102), each being mounted articulated about a hinge axis (103) and movable between a closed position and an open position, - for each cowl (102), an actuation system (110) having a first end (111) mounted articulated on said cowl (102) and a second end (112) intended to be mounted articulated removably on a casing (611) of an engine (60), where said actuation system (110) is arranged to move said cowl (102) from the open position to the closed position and vice versa, and - for each cowl (102), a retaining system (120, 130) separate from said actuation system (110) and arranged to retain said cowl (102) in the open position.

2. Motorization system (50) according to claim 1, characterized in that each second end (112) has a quick-release system.

3. A drive system (50) according to any one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that each hood (102) has a first attachment means (140) to which the second end (112) of the actuation system (110) associated with said hood (102) is removably attached.

4. A motorization system (50) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that each retaining system (120) comprises a telescopic retaining rod (121) and has a third (122) and a fourth (123) end, wherein said third end (122) is articulated on said associated hood (102), wherein said fourth end (123) is intended to be articulated on a mounting mast (16), and wherein said retaining rod (121) is movable between a first position in which it has a first length corresponding to the open position and a second position in which it has a second length corresponding to the closed position.

5. A drive system (50) according to claim 4, characterized in that each retaining rod (121) has locking means arranged to alternately assume a position of locking in which the retaining rod (121) is locked in its first position and an unlocking position in which the retaining rod (121) can move from its first position to its second position and vice versa.

6. Motorization system (50) according to any one of claims 4 or 5, characterized in that each hood (102) has a second attachment means (142) to which the fourth end (123) of the retaining rod (121) associated with said hood (102) is removably attached.

7. A motorization system (50) according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the two retaining systems (130) take the form of a bar (131) having a fifth (132) and a sixth (133) end, where said fifth end (132) is removably fixed to one of the two hoods (102) and where said sixth end (133) is removably fixed to the other of the two hoods (102).

8. Motorization system (50) according to claim 7, characterized in that the fifth (132) and sixth (133) ends have a quick-release system.

9. Motorization system (50) according to any one of claims 6 or 7, characterized in that a hood (102) carries two attachment means (145) to which the fifth (132) and sixth (133) ends are removably attached.

10. Aircraft (10) comprising a lashing mast (16) and a propulsion system (50) according to any one of the preceding claims fixed to said lashing mast (16).
