Abstract

A beekeeping suit comprises an upper body portion 101 having two arms 102, 103 and a torso section 104, and a lower body portion 105 having legs 106, 107, a front section 108 and a seat section 109 terminating at a rear waistband 110. The rear waistband and an upper portion of the seat section form a drop-down section 112 which is releasably attachable to the left and right sides of the front section via fasteners 111. The fasteners may be continuous fasteners such as zips with a length of 30cm or more. The suit might also comprise a transparent, pivotable or detachable pocket for a mobile phone. The bum flap, drop seat, access hatch etc. over the buttocks allows a wearer to use the toilet to defecate or urinate without having to remove the whole suit. Also claimed is a method of use of such a suit for tending to bees. [Figure 1]
