Abstract

A bicycle 1000 having a frame with a first portion 110 including a seat post support and a second portion 120 supporting a rear wheel wherein the second portion 120 is pivotably mounted to the first portion 110 such that the frame can be folded into a stowed configuration, and wherein the second portion 120 comprises upper 122 and lower frame members joined together only at or near a rear axle support part and connected to the first portion 110 at ends distal from the axle support part, the lower connection being pivotable. A roller wheel 155 may be provided on the second frame member 122 near the upper connection point such that when the frame is folded the second frame portion 120 is inverted and the roller wheel 155 contacts the ground.
