Abstract

The invention relates to an active reserve (33) which is called method of implementing a light signaling system (2) consisting of v light sources (3) (where v is a natural number and v is greater than 1), which light sources are of identical or similar specifications, placed inside i lighting bodies (4) (where i is equal to 1,...,v ) at the top or along the height or width of the aviation obstacle (1) that needs to be signaled. The invention aims at the safer operation, increased reliability and expansion of the scope of the application of the system (2) which are achieved through the simultaneous start of the periodic operation cycle of all v sources (3), in contrast to their serial operation with continuous (9) or discontinuous (10) light emission according to the prior art (9, 10, 31). Said signaling system (2) is able to produce either a continuous active light front with (26, 29) or without flashing (25), or a periodic active light front called a regular flash with (28) or without flashing (27), or a periodic active light front called an emergency flash (36) with or without flashing, or a coded position, emergency or communication message in general, based on the conditions and requirements specified by the ICAO / FAA regulations and standards.
