Abstract

The article relating to the present design is primarily a rebar joint for connecting two threaded reinforcing bars in a butt joint configuration. As shown in the "Reference Diagram Showing the State of Use," a coupler is screwed onto the end of one threaded reinforcing bar, a nut is screwed onto the other threaded reinforcing bar, and the coupler and nut are screwed together via a tapered screw. Grout material is then filled through the filling hole formed in the coupler, integrating it with the two threaded reinforcing bars.
