Press plate for woodwind instrument ligatures

Abstract

As shown in the reference diagram, when fixing a reed to the upper surface of a woodwind instrument mouthpiece, a tightening screw is passed through the oversized hole of the ligature press plate for this woodwind instrument, and screwed into the screw hole of the arch-shaped base, which is fixed to the long grooves provided on each circumferential side surface that spans the width direction of the reed on the upper part of the mouthpiece. The press surfaces provided on each longitudinal side of the mouthpiece through the oversized hole press the reed against the upper surface of the mouthpiece and fix it in place.
