Graphical user interfaces for medical imaging systems

Abstract

The display screen or portion thereof having a GUI is intended for use in a medical imaging system such as a magnetic resonance (MR) imaging device. The GUI displays information about the scan environment, such as PA coil position, coil connection status (on / off / error), and patient positioning. The user can control the scan position based on the displayed information by adjusting the landmark and crosshair positions. As the user operates, the GUI displays the landmarks and crosshairs, which can be set / adjusted manually or with algorithmic assistance.
