Packaging box unfolding sheet

Abstract

This article is a single sheet used to create a packaging box. A packaging box is made from this article by the following procedure. First, the sheet is folded along the folds indicated by dashed lines K1 to K4 in Reference Surface Figure 1. Then, the tabs indicated by symbol M in Reference Surface Figure 2 are inserted into the slits indicated by dashed line L in Reference Surface Figure 2 to create a box with openings on both sides (see Reference Perspective Figures 1 and 2). Next, the sheet is folded along the folds indicated by dashed lines K5 to K8 in Reference Surface Figure 1, so that the four flaps indicated by symbol N1 in Reference Surface Figure 1 are placed over the openings on both sides of the box. Then, the two taps indicated by symbol N2 in Reference Surface Figure 1 are inserted into the openings on both sides of the box, thereby closing the openings on both sides of the box with the two lids indicated by symbol N3 in Reference Surface Figure 1 (see Reference Perspective Figure 3). This creates a packaging box that is resistant to deformation.
