Shoulder abduction brace

Abstract

The article relating to this design is a shoulder abduction protector used to support the upper arm in an abducted position after shoulder joint surgery, particularly during bathing. The article comprises a cylindrical base, a bracelet attached to the upper side of the base for inserting and holding the wearer's upper arm, and a support band attached to the bottom side of the base for inserting and holding the back of the wearer's hand. The base is formed as a hollow cylinder, and as shown in the reference front view illustrating the state of use, air is filled in through an air inlet / outlet valve located in the center of the left end face of the front, and it maintains its predetermined shape. The bracelet is formed as a separate chamber structure with an internal space partitioned from the base, and air is filled in through a separately provided air inlet / outlet valve, and it maintains its predetermined shape. The article is made of a flexible material that is waterproof and water-repellent. When in use, the upper arm is inserted through the bracelet, the base is positioned between the torso and the upper arm, and the back of the hand on the receiving side is inserted into the support band, thereby supporting the upper arm in an abducted position during bathing.
