Description

[Technical field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a preservative composition and a method for enhancing preservative activity against mold. [Background technology]

[0002] In recent years, due to increased consumer safety consciousness, there is a demand for cosmetics and quasi-drugs that are hypoallergenic and less irritating to the skin. As a result, cosmetics manufacturers are being asked to design formulations that reduce the amount of parabens, which are currently the most widely used preservative, as much as possible.

[0003] As a technique for reducing or eliminating the incorporation of parabens, which are used as preservatives and germicides in cosmetics, preservatives and germicides composed of 1,2-alkanediols have been disclosed (see Patent Document 1). However, when 1,2-alkanediols such as 1,2-octanediol are used alone as preservatives and germicides, a high amount may be required to obtain a sufficient effect. For this reason, there is a demand for the development of a preservative and germicide that can exert a sufficient preservative and germicide effect with a small amount even when used alone.

[0004] In order to solve the above problems, the present inventors reported that 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid esters have excellent preservative properties against mold (Patent Document 2). After that, the inventors continued to study more effective methods for using 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid esters and methods for improving their preservative properties, and reported that a substance containing 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid esters and aromatic alcohols has even more excellent preservative properties (Patent Document 3). [Prior art documents] [Patent documents]

[0005] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Application Publication No. 11-322591 [Patent Document 2] JP 2012-56893 A [Patent Document 3] JP 2015-91787 A [Patent Document 4] JP 2017-25005 A Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0006] Although it was discovered that a compound containing 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester and an aromatic alcohol has excellent preservative properties, there was a problem in that the preservative properties were weakened when an anionic surfactant was added to the compound, for example, in detergents such as shampoos and facial cleansers. [Means for solving the problem]

[0007] As a result of intensive research to solve the above problems, the inventors discovered that by adding 1,3-propanediol to 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester and phenethyl alcohol (aromatic primary alcohol), a sufficient preservative effect against mold can be enhanced even in a cleaning agent containing an anionic surfactant, and thus completed the present invention.

[0008] That is, the gist of the present invention is as follows.

[0009] [ka]

[0010] (In the formula, R 1 represents a branched or unbranched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms.) A preservative composition for mildew for use in a composition containing an anionic surfactant, the preservative composition comprising 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester represented by the formula (I) above, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol. [2] A composition comprising the preservative composition of claim 1 and an anionic surfactant. [3] A cleaning agent comprising the preservative composition according to claim 1 and an anionic surfactant. [4]

[0011] [ka]

[0012] (In the formula, R 1 represents a branched or unbranched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms. A method for enhancing the antifungal activity of a composition containing an anionic surfactant, comprising adding 1,3-propanediol to a preservative composition containing a 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester represented by the formula (I) and phenethyl alcohol. [5] 5. The method for enhancing the anti-mildew activity of a composition containing an anionic surfactant according to claim 4, wherein the composition containing the anionic surfactant is selected from the group consisting of cleaning agents, fragrances, cosmetics, topical skin preparations, quasi-drugs, hygiene products, and pet hygiene products. Effect of the Invention

[0013] According to the present invention, the addition of 1,3-propanediol has the effect of enhancing the antiseptic activity of 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester and phenethyl alcohol against mold, even in the presence of an anionic surfactant.

[0014] Patent Document 4 (JP Patent Publication No. 2017-25005) describes a preservative "characterized in that it contains (i) an extract of Phyllanthus emblica and (ii) one or more selected from the group consisting of alcohol and organic acid or ester thereof," in which "the alcohol is ethanol, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, phenethyl alcohol, phenylpropanol, 1,3-butylene glycol, 1,3-propanediol, pentylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, decylene glycol, glycerin, and ethylhexylglycerin," but does not describe any relationship with anionic surfactants. In addition, Patent Document 4 describes that the preservative effect can also be achieved by using "1,3-butylene glycol" or "1,2-hexanediol" as mentioned above. In the present invention, as described in the following examples, it has been clarified that when "1,3-butylene glycol" or "1,2-hexanediol" is used, no preservative effect against mold is observed in the presence of an anionic surfactant, and when "1,3-propanediol" is used, a preservative effect is exhibited even in the presence of an anionic surfactant. In other words, Patent Document 4 does not describe the problems related to preservative compositions having a preservative effect against mold in the presence of an anionic surfactant, nor does it describe a means for solving the problems. It has no motivation for arriving at the present invention, and has an obstructing factor. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS

[0015] As described above, the preservative composition of the present invention is characterized in that it contains 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester and phenoxyethanol.

[0016] The 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester (hereinafter also referred to as component (a)) is represented by the following formula (1):

[0017] [ka]

[0018] (In the formula, R 1 represents a branched or unbranched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms.

[0019] Among the above (a) ingredients, R is particularly excellent in terms of its antiseptic properties against mold. 1 More preferably, R is an unbranched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms. 1 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester represented by the following formula (2) having 7 carbon atoms (component (a-1) in the examples described later), R 1 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxyundecanoic acid ester represented by the following formula (3) having 8 carbon atoms, R 1 Examples of the 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydodecanoate include 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydodecanoate represented by the following formula (4), which has 9 carbon atoms.

[0020] [ka]

[0021] Regarding β-hydroxycarboxylic acid, which is a component of component (a), R 1 Examples of the hydroxyl group having an unbranched saturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms include β-hydroxydecanoic acid, β-hydroxyundecanoic acid, and β-hydroxydodecanoic acid. 1 Examples of the carboxylic acid having an unbranched unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms include β-hydroxy-5-decenoic acid, β-hydroxy-5-undecenoic acid, and β-hydroxy-5-dodecenoic acid.

[0022] Component (a) is produced by esterification or transesterification (hereinafter collectively referred to as "esterification") of 1,3-propanediol with the above-mentioned specific β-hydroxycarboxylic acid or its derivative by an enzyme reaction (using, for example, lipase as the enzyme) or a chemical synthesis method. The β-hydroxycarboxylic acid or its derivative used in this esterification can be produced, for example, by Knoevenagel condensation, Darzens condensation, Reformatsky reaction, etc. Of the above, the Reformatsky reaction is usually used in terms of yield and by-products.

[0023] As an example of a method for producing component (a), a method in which a β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester is produced using the Reformatsky reaction, and then the ester and 1,3-propanediol are subjected to transesterification using lipase to produce 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester is specifically described below.

[0024] In the Reformatsky reaction, a β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester is produced by a condensation reaction between an aldehyde having a branched or unbranched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 9 carbon atoms and a bromoacetic acid ester. Specifically, for example, pentanal, hexanal, and heptanal are used as the aldehyde having an unbranched saturated alkyl group having 5 to 7 carbon atoms. For example, methyl bromoacetate, ethyl bromoacetate, propyl bromoacetate, and butyl bromoacetate are used as the bromoacetic acid ester. For example, zinc, magnesium, and iron are used as the catalyst for the Reformatsky reaction.

[0025] Next, transesterification using lipase will be described. The lipase used for transesterification is not particularly limited as long as it recognizes glycerides as a substrate. Examples include monoglyceride lipase, cutinase, esterase, etc. Among these, lipase is preferred, and examples of such lipase include monoglyceride lipase, mono- and diglyceride lipase, etc.

[0026] The lipase may be purified (including crudely purified and partially purified) and may be used in a free form or may be immobilized on a carrier such as an ion exchange resin, a porous resin, ceramics, or calcium carbonate.

[0027] Methods for isolating and purifying 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester from the reaction mixture include, for example, deacidification, water washing, distillation, solvent extraction, ion exchange chromatography, thin layer chromatography, membrane separation, and the like, which may be used alone or in combination.

[0028] Regarding the method for producing the above-mentioned component (a), a method in which octanal and methyl bromoacetate are used as starting materials to produce β-hydroxydecanoic acid methyl ester by the Reformatsky reaction, and then the ester is reacted with 1,3-propanediol in the presence of lipase to produce 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester by transesterification is shown by the following chemical formula (5).

[0029] [ka]

[0030] As shown in Reference 3, a preservative composition containing 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester (component (a)) and phenethyl alcohol (hereinafter also referred to as component (b)), which is an aromatic alcohol represented by the following formula (6), has excellent preservative power, but as described above, there is a problem that the preservative power is weakened in a cleanser such as a shampoo or face wash to which an anionic surfactant is added. On the other hand, 1,3-propanediol (hereinafter also referred to as component (c)) represented by the following formula (7) does not exhibit preservative power against mold by itself, but when used in combination with 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester (component (a)) and phenethyl alcohol (component (b)) in the presence of an anionic surfactant, it exhibits the effect of enhancing the preservative power of components (a) and (b) against mold.

[0031] [ka]

[0032] [ka]

[0033] Suitable anionic surfactants for use in the present invention include, for example, sodium coconut oil fatty acid methylalanine, sodium lauroyl methylalanine, TEA lauroyl methylalanine, sodium coconut oil fatty acid glutamate, potassium coconut oil fatty acid glutamate, sodium lauroyl aspartate, and sodium lauroyl sarcosine.

[0034] The blending ratio (a:b:c) of the components (a), (b) and (c) is preferably 10:10:70 to 10:40:50, more preferably 10:30:60, by weight.

[0035] The preservative composition of the present invention exhibits excellent antiseptic activity against mold. Therefore, when the preservative composition of the present invention is blended with an object to be preserved, such as a detergent, a perfume, a cosmetic, a skin external preparation, a quasi-drug, a daily hygiene product, clothing, a paint, and a pet hygiene product, the object to be preserved can be provided with excellent antiseptic activity against mold, and as a result, the user can be effectively prevented from being infected with bacteria. The content of the preservative composition in the object to be preserved is usually 0.01 to 50% by weight, preferably 0.1 to 10% by weight.

[0036] When the preservative composition of the present invention is blended in the above-mentioned object to be preserved, one or more of conventionally known preservatives can be blended in the object to be preserved, so long as the object of the present invention is not impaired.Other preservatives that can be used in combination include, for example, cetylpyridinium chloride, dequalinium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, chlorhexidine, triclosan, isopropylmethylphenol, ofloxacin, iodine, sodium fluoride, benzoic acid, sorbic acid, organic halogen, and benzimidazole bactericides, metal ions such as silver and copper, lecithin, sucrose fatty acid esters, glycerin fatty acid esters, polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid esters, ethanol, propylene glycol, 1,2-alkanediol, polylysine, lysozyme, chitosan, thymol, eugenol, oily licorice extract, mulberry bark extract, Angelica keiskei extract, spice extract, and plant extracts such as polyphenols. The above-mentioned conventional preservatives may be blended into the object to be preserved as a component of the preservative composition of the present invention, or may be blended into the object to be preserved separately from the preservative composition of the present invention.

[0037] Furthermore, the preservative composition of the present invention can be used by mixing it with general ingredients of external skin preparations.

[0038] The form of the preservative composition of the present invention can be appropriately changed depending on the above-mentioned object to be preserved, and for example, granular, paste-like, solid, liquid, etc. can be used.

[0039] When the preservative composition of the present invention is mixed with the above-mentioned preservation object, a known device capable of producing the above-mentioned form (such as a paddle mixer, homomixer, homogenizer, etc.) can be suitably used. The preservative composition of the present invention has excellent blending properties, so that the preservative composition does not precipitate as crystals from the various preservation objects produced. EXAMPLES

[0040] The present invention will be described in more detail below with reference to test examples, but the present invention is not limited thereto. Furthermore, unless otherwise specified, "%" means % by weight.

[0041] <Synthesis example of 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxycarboxylic acid ester> (1) Synthesis example of 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoate (component (a-1)) (1-1) Synthesis of β-hydroxydecanoic acid methyl ester by Reformatsky reaction In a 300ml four-necked round-bottom flask, 6.5g of zinc, 15.5g of octanal, 25ml of trimethoxyborane and 25ml of dry THF were placed, and 17.5g of methyl bromoacetate was added dropwise over 2 hours at 20°C under a nitrogen stream. After the addition, the mixture was stirred for 1 hour at 20°C, and then 25ml of saturated aqueous ammonia and 25ml of glycerin were added and stirred for 10 minutes. The organic layer was separated, and the aqueous layer was extracted twice with diethyl ether. The organic solution was then collected and desolvated, and the residue was purified by distillation to obtain β-hydroxydecanoic acid methyl ester.

[0042] (1-2) Synthesis of 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester 5 g of the β-hydroxydecanoic acid methyl ester obtained above, 5 g of 1,3-propanediol, and 0.05 g of immobilized lipase (product name: Novozyme 435: Novozymes Japan Co., Ltd.) were added to a 50 ml pressure-resistant vial, and the mixture was stirred at 50° C. under a reduced pressure of 10 mmHg for 24 hours. After the reaction, the reaction solution obtained was purified by silica gel column chromatography to obtain 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester with a purity of 99%.

[0043] <Evaluation test of preservative power in facial cleanser> In the formulation shown in Table 1, the facial cleanser has Phase A containing sodium lauroyl aspartate (25% solution) which is an anionic surfactant, and Phase B contains 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoate (Example 1), a facial cleanser containing no preservative material in Phase B (Comparative Example 1), a facial cleanser containing only 1,3-propanediol (Comparative Example 2), a facial cleanser containing only phenethyl alcohol (Comparative Example 3), a facial cleanser containing 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoate (Comparative Example 4), and a facial cleanser containing 1,3-propanediol in Phase B (Comparative Example 5). The following facial cleansers were prepared: a facial cleanser containing 1,3-propanediol and phenethyl alcohol in phase B (Comparative Example 5), a facial cleanser containing 1,3-propanediol and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase B (Comparative Example 6), a facial cleanser containing phenethyl alcohol and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase B (Comparative Example 7), a facial cleanser containing 1,3-propanediol, 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester and ethylhexylglyceryl in phase B (Comparative Example 8), and a facial cleanser containing ethylhexylglyceryl in phase B (Comparative Example 9).Their preservative power was evaluated by the challenge test described below.

[0044] [Table 1]

[0045] The test bacteria used was black mold (A. niger, NBRC9455). The culture medium in which this bacteria was pre-cultured was 6 ~10 7 The concentration was adjusted to cfu / ml and used as a bacterial suspension. The number of bacteria was confirmed by colony counting. Next, 20 g of the emulsions of Example 1 and Comparative Examples 1 to 9 were placed in a 50 ml vial sterilized by autoclaving, and 100 μl of the bacterial suspension was inoculated and cultured at 25° C. To determine the number of remaining bacteria in the samples, 0.5 g of each sample was taken out 7 days, 14 days, and 28 days after inoculation, diluted with physiological saline, and spread on an agar medium and cultured for 24 hours, and the number of bacteria in the samples was calculated. The results are shown in Table 2.

[0046] [Table 2]

[0047] The results in Table 2 show that even in Comparative Example 7 (a facial cleanser containing phenethyl alcohol and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase B), which should exhibit a preservative effect in the absence of an anionic surfactant, no reduction in the number of live bacteria was observed over a 28-day period under this environment, and no preservative effect was observed.

[0048] In Comparative Example 2, which contained only 1,3-propanediol at 1.0% as the preservative component of the B phase, the number of live bacteria did not decrease for 28 days. In Comparative Example 3, which contained only phenethyl alcohol at 1.0% as the preservative component, the number of live bacteria did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less for 28 days. In Comparative Example 4, which contained only 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester at 1.0% as the preservative component, the number of live bacteria did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less for 28 days. In Comparative Examples 5 and 6, which used two types of preservative components in the B phase, the number of live bacteria did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less for 28 days. In the facial cleansers of Comparative Examples 8 and 9, which used ethylhexylglycerin alone or in combination as the preservative component of the B phase, the number of live bacteria did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less for 28 days.

[0049] In contrast to this, in Example 1, in which 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoate were used in combination, the viable cell count fell to 10 cfu / ml or less in 14 days.

[0050] These results confirmed that 1,3-propanediol and phenethyl alcohol alone do not show antiseptic activity against mold. In addition, it was revealed that the combination of phenethyl alcohol and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in the presence of an anionic surfactant, but without 1,3-propanediol, also did not show antiseptic activity against mold. On the other hand, it was confirmed that the antiseptic activity was only demonstrated by the combination of the three ingredients 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester.

[0051] <Anti-corrosive power evaluation test to examine the effect of solvent components> In the formulation shown in Table 3, the effect of the solvent components of layer D (1,3-propanediol, 1,3-butylene glycol, 1,2-pentanediol, 1,2-hexanediol) on phase C of a shampoo formulation containing the anionic surfactants sodium methylalanine coconut oil fatty acid (25% solution) and sodium lauroyl aspartate (25% solution) was investigated. The following shampoos were prepared: a shampoo containing 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase D (Example 2); a shampoo containing no preservative material in phase D (Comparative Example 10); a shampoo containing 1,3-butylene glycol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase D (Comparative Example 11); a shampoo containing 1,2-pentanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase D (Comparative Example 12); and a shampoo containing 1,2-hexanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester in phase D (Comparative Example 13). The challenge test described below was used to evaluate the difference in preservative power when each of the solvent components, 1,3-propanediol, 1,3-butylene glycol, 1,2-pentanediol, and 1,2-hexanediol, was added.

[0052] [Table 3]

[0053] The test bacteria used was black mold (A. niger, NBRC9455). The culture medium in which this bacteria was pre-cultured was 6 ~10 7The concentration was adjusted to cfu / ml and used as a bacterial suspension. The number of bacteria was confirmed by colony counting. Next, 20 g of the shampoos of Example 2 and Comparative Examples 10 to 13 were placed in 50 ml vials sterilized by autoclaving, and 100 μl of the bacterial suspension was inoculated and cultured at 25° C. The results are shown in Table 4.

[0054] [Table 4]

[0055] From the results in Table 4, in Comparative Example 11, which contained 0.60% 1,3-butylene glycol as a component of the D phase, the viable cell count did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less over 28 days. In Comparative Example 12, which contained 0.60% 1,2-pentanediol as a preservative component, the viable cell count did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less over 28 days. In Comparative Example 13, which contained 0.60% 1,2-hexaneol as a preservative component, the viable cell count did not decrease to 10 cfu / ml or less over 28 days.

[0056] In contrast, in Example 2, which contained 0.60% 1,3-propanediol and was used in combination with phenethyl alcohol and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester, the viable cell count fell to 10 cfu / ml or less in 14 days. This result demonstrated that the use of 1,3-propanediol, a solvent component, in combination with a preservative component can exert anti-mold properties even in an environment where an anionic surfactant is present.

[0057] In addition, Patent Document 4 (JP Patent Publication No. 2017-25005) describes a preservative that "contains (i) an extract of Phyllanthus emblica and (ii) one or more selected from the group consisting of alcohol and organic acid or ester thereof," and "the alcohol is ethanol, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, phenethyl alcohol, phenylpropanol, 1,3-butylene glycol, 1,3-propanediol, pentylene glycol, 1,2-hexanediol, caprylyl glycol, decylene glycol, glycerin, and ethylhexylglycerin," but does not describe any relationship with anionic surfactants. In addition, Patent Document 4 describes that the preservative effect can be achieved by using "1,3-butylene glycol" or "1,2-hexanediol" as mentioned above. In the present invention, as explained in the above examples, it has been clarified that when "1,3-butylene glycol" or "1,2-hexanediol" is used, the preservative effect against mold is not observed in the presence of an anionic surfactant, and when "1,3-propanediol" is used, the preservative effect is exhibited even in the presence of an anionic surfactant. In other words, Patent Document 4 does not describe the problems related to preservative compositions having a preservative effect against mold in the presence of an anionic surfactant, nor the means for solving the problems, and thus has no motivation for arriving at the present invention and has an obstructing factor.

[0058] <Blending characteristics of the cosmetic composition containing the preservative composition according to the present invention> (Shampoo formulation) Coconut oil fatty acid methylalanine sodium solution (25%): 30.00% by weight Coconut oil amidopropyl betaine: 3.00% by weight Glycerin: 0.60% by weight Citric acid: 0.30% by weight Polyquaternium-10: 0.60% by weight 1,3-propanediol: 0.60% by weight Phenethyl alcohol: 0.30% by weight 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester: 0.10% by weight Tap water: remainder (Production method) Polyquaternium-10 was dissolved in tap water and heated to 70°C (this was designated mixture A). To this mixture A, coconut oil fatty acid methylalanine sodium solution (25%), coconut oil amidopropyl betaine, citric acid, glycerin, 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester were added to obtain a shampoo. (Composition characteristics) 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoate were easily mixed with the other ingredients. The resulting shampoo showed no turbidity or precipitation.

[0059] (Body soap formulation) Olive oil PEG-7: 10.00% by weight PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate: 2.00% by weight Coconut oil fatty acid propyl betaine: 8.00% by weight Coconut oil fatty acid sodium glutamate: 18.00% by weight Polyquaternium-6: 1.00% by weight Cocamide DEA: 1.00% by weight 1,3-propanediol: 0.60% by weight Phenethyl alcohol: 0.30% by weight 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester: 0.10% by weight Citric acid: 0.60% by weight Tap water: remainder (Production method) Polyquaternium-6 was dissolved in tap water and heated to 70°C (this was designated mixture A). Olive oil PEG-7, PEG-120 methyl glucose dioleate, coconut oil fatty acid propyl betaine, coconut oil fatty acid sodium glutamate, 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoic acid ester, and citric acid were added to this mixture A in that order to obtain a body soap. (Composition characteristics) 1,3-propanediol, phenethyl alcohol, and 1,3-propanediol mono-β-hydroxydecanoate were easily mixed with the other ingredients. No turbidity or precipitation was observed in the obtained body soap. [Industrial Applicability]
