Abstract

To disclose an optimization design method for a vibration damping structure based on a multi-level staged yield damper.SOLUTION: An optimization design method includes the steps of: inputting an uncontrolled vibration damping structure model; determining a damper installation position and structure optimization estimation; determining and setting a preset parameter of an algorithm program; and respectively independently performing analysis calculation of the algorithm program to load modes of a small earthquake, a medium earthquake and a large earthquake, acquiring damper yield load capacity, yield displacement, and a hysteresis curve corresponding to the maximum value of fitness in a corresponding mode to construct a skeleton curve of a multi-level staged yield damper by hysteresis curves in the three modes, inversely calculating a hysteresis curve of the multi-level staged yield damper by the constructed skeleton curve, and then, designing a subsequent multi-level staged yield damper. An optimization structure obtained by the optimization design method of the present invention not only can maximize the performance of the damper but also satisfy control requirements of structural interlayer displacement angles in comparison with an original structure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
