[0009] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0010] In the related art, an intelligent reflective surface or repeater is a low-cost wireless signal enhancement means, and Fig. 1 is a schematic diagram of an intelligent reflective surface in the related art, and as shown in Fig. 1, the intelligent reflective surface is divided into multiple channels, and it is usually difficult for a base station to obtain the received data information in the channel dimension of the intelligent reflective surface. The embodiment of the present invention is applied to the above intelligent reflective surface or repeater, and provides a channel separation method and system for obtaining the received data information in the channel dimension of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater.
[0011] FIG. 2 is a flow chart of a channel separation method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 2, the flow includes the following step S202.
[0012] In step S202, when multiple reference signals are reflected by the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, the intelligent reflective surface or repeater switches the codebook of each reference signal to a corresponding intelligent reflective surface codebook, and each reference signal corresponds to one different intelligent reflective surface or repeater codebook.
[0013] In step S202 of this embodiment, before the intelligent reflective surface or repeater switches the codebook of each reference signal to the corresponding intelligent reflective surface codebook, the method further includes a step in which the base station configures or negotiates with the intelligent reflective surface or repeater parameters for separating the logical channels of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, the parameters including a first parameter indicating the number of logical channels that need to be separated, a second parameter indicating a codebook set arranged on the logical channels of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, the codebook set including a logical channel codebook corresponding to the number of logical channels, and a third parameter indicating a submatrix codebook arranged on the physical submatrix of each logical channel.
[0014] In one exemplary embodiment, the intelligent reflective surface codebook is a Kronecker product of a logical channel codebook and a corresponding sub-matrix codebook.
[0015] In one exemplary embodiment, the first parameter includes the number of logical channels that need to be separated in the azimuth and pitch dimensions of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, or the number of physical elements in the azimuth and pitch dimensions that are included in each logical channel.
[0016] In one exemplary embodiment, each logical channel codebook is represented by 1 bit of information, the order of the logical channel codebooks in the codebook set is indicated by agreement or base station signaling, and the number of logical channel codebooks in the codebook set is equal to or greater than the number of logical channels.
[0017] In one exemplary embodiment, all the sub-matrix codebooks in the same logical channel are the same.
[0018] In one exemplary embodiment, when the base station acquires the initial amplitude phase of the reference signal, each logical channel corresponds to one logical channel codebook, and when the base station does not acquire the initial amplitude phase of the reference signal, at least one logical channel corresponds to multiple logical channel codebooks.
[0019] In one exemplary embodiment, before the intelligent reflective surface or repeater switches the codebook of each reference signal to a corresponding intelligent reflective surface codebook, the method further includes a step of the base station configuring a plurality of reference signals, the number of the reference signals being equal to an integer multiple of the logical channel codebook.
[0020] In one exemplary embodiment, the reference signals located in each OFDM symbol occupy the same RB, and the number of REs occupied by each RB is the same.
[0021] In step S202 of this embodiment, after the base station configures multiple reference signals, the method further includes a step of the base station notifying the intelligent reflective surface or repeater by signaling the time slots and OFDM symbol positions in which the configured reference signals are located.
[0022] In step S202 of this embodiment, the method includes the intelligent reflective surface or repeater switching the codebook of each reference signal to a corresponding intelligent reflective surface codebook based on the time slot and OFDM symbol position of the reference signal.
[0023] After step S202 in this embodiment, the method further includes the step of separating logical channels of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater according to the codebook after the reference signal is switched after the base station receives the reference signal.
[0024] In one exemplary embodiment, the step of separating the logical channels of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater based on the codebook after switching of each reference signal includes, when the base station does not obtain the initial amplitude phase of the reference signal, performing amplitude and phase compensation on the reference signal using different logical channel codebooks corresponding to the same logical channel, and then separating each logical channel based on the compensated reference signal.
[0025] In an exemplary embodiment, the number of logical channels that need to be separated is N, the codebook set includes N logical channel codebooks, each logical channel codebook includes N elements of the same amplitude, the phase difference between the Mth element and other elements in the Mth codebook is 180 degrees, N is an integer greater than 1, and M is an integer greater than or equal to 1 and less than or equal to N.
[0026] Through the above steps, when each reference signal passes through the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, the codebook of each reference signal is switched to the corresponding intelligent reflective surface codebook, so that the receiving base station can obtain the receiving data information in the channel dimension of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater according to the intelligent reflective surface codebook. Therefore, when the receiving data information in the channel dimension of the intelligent reflective surface is obtained by the beam training of the intelligent reflective surface in the related art, the problem of high codebook design complexity or high solution complexity can be solved, and the effect of reducing the calculation complexity can be achieved.

[0035] In order to facilitate understanding of the technical solutions of the present invention, the following detailed description will be given in conjunction with specific scenario examples.
[0036] In an embodiment of the present invention, a channel separation method and system are provided, which can quickly obtain the channel dimension information of an intelligent reflective surface by controlling it with a 1-bit channel dimension codebook. In extreme situations, no multiplication and division operations are required during the entire process, and the computational complexity is extremely low.

[0067] In the embodiment, based on the above codebook design and channel separation principle, parameter configuration for channel separation of the intelligent reflective surface is performed, that is, the base station configures parameters for channel separation for the intelligent reflective surface, which includes the following (1) to (3):
[0068]

[0069]

[0071] (3) If mn is not equal to 1, the base station further needs to configure a codebook of the corresponding submatrix level for each submatrix, and the codebooks of all submatrices are the same, and the codebook includes m*n elements. The codebook of the entire intelligent reflective surface is obtained by combining the submatrix codebook and the logical channel codebook, and mathematically is represented as the Kronecker product of the logical channel codebook and the submatrix codebook.
[0072] In this embodiment, the base station configures a set of reference signals, and the reference signals configured in each OFDM symbol occupy at least the same RB, and the number of REs occupied by each RB is the same. The number of reference signals is equal to an integer multiple of the codebook for channelization, and by default the number of reference signals is equal to the number of the codebook for channelization.
[0073] In this embodiment, the base station informs the intelligent reflecting surface of the time slot and OFDM symbol where the configured reference signal is located by signaling, and the reference signal in each OFDM symbol corresponds to one intelligent reflecting surface codebook. When the symbol where the reference signal is located passes through the intelligent reflecting surface, the intelligent reflecting surface should switch to the corresponding codebook.
[0074] The embodiment of the present invention further designs a low-complexity codebook for channel separation of the intelligent reflective surface, and after separating N logical channels, the characteristics of the codebook are as follows: In each codebook, assume that N-1 elements are exactly the same and are a, and the remaining element is -a, The position where -a appears in this codebook set must occupy all positions of the N elements.
[0075] Figure 4 is a flowchart of the channel separation method of a 1-bit intelligent reflective surface according to an embodiment of the present invention. Based on the above-mentioned codebook design and channel separation principles, as shown in Figure 4, the channel separation method of a 1-bit intelligent reflective surface according to an embodiment of the present invention includes the following steps S401 to S404.
[0076] In step S401, the base station configures parameters for channel separation for an intelligent reflective surface.
[0077] Specifically, the parameters mainly indicate the following (1) to (3).
[0078] (1) The number of logical channels that need to be separated. The number of logical channels that need to be separated in the azimuth dimension and pitch dimension may be directly configured, or the number of physical elements in the azimuth dimension or pitch dimension contained in each logical channel may be configured, where the number of physical elements in the azimuth dimension and pitch dimension is an integer multiple of the number of the corresponding logical channels.
[0079] (2) The base station needs to configure one codebook set for logical channels for the intelligent reflective surface, where each codebook contains only as many codebook elements as the number of logical channels, and each element can be represented by 1 bit of information. The order of the codebooks in the set may be pre-arranged or may be indicated by base station signaling, and the number of codebooks in the set is equal to or greater than the number of logical channels, and may be pre-arranged because the codebook set conforms to certain mathematical laws.
[0080] (3) If several physical elements constituting each logical channel are regarded as one submatrix, when the number of physical elements contained in each submatrix is greater than 1, the base station usually needs to configure a codebook for each submatrix of the intelligent reflective surface, and since the codebooks of all submatrix are the same, it only needs to configure the codebook of one submatrix. The configuration of the submatrix codebook may be a specific codebook, may be an indication symbol of a certain codebook, or may be a default codebook that is preset.
[0081] In step S402, the base station configures a set of reference signals.
[0082] Specifically, the number of reference signals is equal to the number of codebooks in the logical channel codebook set, and the intelligent reflective surface needs to continuously switch the arranged codebooks on different OFDM symbols corresponding to the reference signals.
[0083] In step S403, the base station informs the intelligent reflective surface through signaling of the time slot and OFDM symbol position where the deployed reference signal is located.
[0084] Specifically, the reference signal in each OFDM symbol corresponds to one intelligent reflecting surface codebook, and when the symbol in which the transmitted reference signal is located passes through the intelligent reflecting surface, the intelligent reflecting surface should switch to the corresponding codebook.
[0085] In step S404, the base station performs channel separation after receiving the reference signals of the intelligent reflective surfaces in different codebooks.
[0086] Fig. 5 is a flow chart of a channel separation method according to another embodiment of the present invention, in this embodiment, assuming that the receiving side can obtain the initial amplitude and phase of each reference signal, the transmission state of each reference signal is considered to be known, for example, for multiple reference signals transmitted consecutively, each reference signal occupies one OFDM symbol, and the initial phase of each reference signal is known. As shown in Fig. 5, the method includes the following steps S501 to S504.
[0087] In step S501, the base station configures parameters for channel separation for an intelligent reflective surface.
[0088] Specifically, taking the intelligent reflective surface of FIG. 1 as an example, the parameters indicate the following (1) to (3).
[0089] (1) The number of azimuth dimension physical elements of each logical channel is 2, and the number of pitch dimension physical elements is 2, that is, the intelligent reflecting surface is divided into logical channels with 2x2 as one sub-matrix, and the base station can know in advance that the number of actual physical elements of the intelligent reflecting surface is 12x16, which means that the intelligent reflecting surface is divided into 6x8 logical channels.
[0090] (b) The base station configures one codebook set for a logical channel to the intelligent reflective surface, for example, the codebook set includes 6×8 codebooks, each codebook includes 48 elements of the same amplitude, and the phase difference between the nth element in the nth codebook and other elements is 180 degrees. In this embodiment, the codebook set may be pre-arranged to avoid signaling overhead.
[0091] (c) A submatrix level codebook is arranged for each submatrix included in a logical channel, and the submatrix codebooks of all logical channels are the same, so that all submatrix have the same beam direction. The arrangement of the submatrix codebook may be a specific codebook, may be a designation symbol of a certain codebook, or may be a default codebook preset.
[0092] In step S502, the base station configures a set of reference signals.
[0093] Specifically, in this embodiment, the number of reference signals is equal to the number of logical channels, i.e., 48. The intelligent reflective surface needs to continuously switch the codebook arranged on different time-domain symbols corresponding to the reference signals.
[0094] In this embodiment, the codebook weighting value of each physical element is equal to the codebook weighting value of the sub-matrix level multiplied by the codebook weighting value of the logical channel corresponding to that sub-matrix.
[0095] In step S503, the base station notifies the intelligent reflecting surface by signaling the time slot and OFDM symbol position where the configured reference signal is located, and the reference signal in each OFDM symbol corresponds to one intelligent reflecting surface logic codebook, and when the symbol where the transmitted reference signal is located passes through the intelligent reflecting surface, the intelligent reflecting surface should switch to the corresponding codebook.
[0096] In step S504, the base station performs channel separation after receiving the reference signals of the intelligent reflective surfaces in different codebooks.
[0097] FIG. 6 is a flowchart of a channel separation method according to yet another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, assuming that the receiving side cannot obtain the initial amplitude phase of each reference signal, there may be random amplitude phase hopping between the reference signals of the transmitting side (for example, for reference signals distributed in multiple time slots, there may be random amplitude phase hopping between reference signals between different time slots). Thus, in the case of channel separation, it is necessary to first compensate for the amplitude phase hopping between reference signals, and ensure that the initial state of each reference signal is the same.
[0098] For example, as shown in FIG. 1, the number of physical elements of the intelligent reflective surface in this figure is 12×16, and each logical channel contains one 2×2 sub-matrix, which is divided into a total of 48 logical channels, so at least 48 reference signals are required; when using OFDM signals, each time slot contains 14 symbols, so at least four time slots are required to obtain 48 OFDM symbols; and when there is random hopping in the initial phase of the four time slots, at least one identical codebook needs to be used between the time slots.
[0099] As shown in FIG. 6, the method includes the following steps S601 to S604.
[0100] In step S601, the base station configures parameters for channel separation for an intelligent reflective surface.
[0101] Specifically, based on the intelligent reflective surface in FIG. 1, the parameters indicate the following (1) to (3).
[0102] (1) The number of azimuth dimension physical elements of each logical channel is 2, and the number of pitch dimension physical elements is 2, that is, the intelligent reflecting surface is divided into logical channels with 2x2 as one sub-matrix, and the base station can know in advance that the number of actual physical elements of the intelligent reflecting surface is 12x16, which means that the intelligent reflecting surface is divided into 6x8 logical channels.
[0103]
number
[0104] (3) One submatrix level codebook is arranged for the submatrix included in the logical channel, and in this embodiment, the submatrix codebooks of all logical channels are the same, and thus, all submatrices have the same beam direction.
[0105] In this embodiment, the sub-matrix codebook configuration can be a specific codebook, can be a designation symbol of a certain codebook, or can be a preset default codebook.
[0106] In step S602, the base station configures a set of reference signals.
[0107] Specifically, the number of reference signals is equal to the number of logical channels, i.e., equal to 48, and equal to the number of codebooks in the logical channel codebook set. The intelligent reflective surface needs to continuously switch the arranged codebooks on different time-domain symbols corresponding to the reference signals.
[0108] In this embodiment, the codebook weighting value of each physical element is equal to the codebook weighting value of the sub-matrix level multiplied by the codebook weighting value of the logical channel corresponding to that sub-matrix.
[0109] In step S603, the base station informs the intelligent reflecting surface of the time slot and OFDM symbol position where the configured reference signal is located by signaling, and the reference signal in each OFDM symbol corresponds to one intelligent reflecting surface logic codebook. When the symbol where the transmitted reference signal is located passes through the intelligent reflecting surface, the intelligent reflecting surface should switch to the corresponding codebook.
[0110] In step S604, after receiving the reference signals of the intelligent reflective surfaces in different codebooks, the base station performs amplitude and phase compensation between time slots based on the same logical channel codebooks of different time slots, and after compensation, performs channel separation according to the method of the above embodiment.
[0111] In addition, the intelligent reflective surfaces RIS in all the above-mentioned embodiments of the present invention can be replaced with repeaters, and for specific examples, refer to the examples described in the above-mentioned embodiments and exemplary embodiments, so that the repeated description of this embodiment will be omitted here.
[0112] According to the above embodiment of the present invention, by controlling through a 1-bit channel dimension codebook, the channel dimension information of the intelligent reflective surface can be quickly obtained. In extreme situations, no multiplication and division operations are required during the entire process, and the calculation complexity is extremely low. This solves the problem of high codebook design complexity or high solution complexity when obtaining received data information in the channel dimension of the intelligent reflective surface through beam training of the intelligent reflective surface in the related technology, and achieves the effect of reducing the calculation complexity.
[0113] In an embodiment of the present invention, there is further provided a computer readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program, the computer program being configured, when executed, to perform the steps of any of the method embodiments described above.
[0114] In an exemplary embodiment, the computer-readable storage medium may include, but is not limited to, various media capable of storing computer programs, such as a USB disk, a Read-Only Memory (abbreviated as ROM), a Random Access Memory (abbreviated as RAM), a mobile hard disk, a magnetic disk, or an optical disk.
[0115] In an embodiment of the present invention, there is further provided an electronic device comprising a memory having a computer program stored therein, and a processor configured to execute the computer program to perform the steps of any of the method embodiments described above.
[0116] In an exemplary embodiment, the electronic device may further include a transmission device coupled to the processor and an input / output device coupled to the processor.
[0117] For specific examples of this embodiment, reference can be made to the examples described in the above embodiments and exemplary embodiments, so repeated explanations of this embodiment will be omitted here.

The method of claim 2, wherein the number of logical channels that need to be separated is N, the codebook set includes N logical channel codebooks, each logical channel codebook includes N elements of the same amplitude, the phase difference between the Mth element and other elements in the Mth codebook is 180 degrees, N is an integer greater than 1, and M is an integer between 1 and N, inclusive.
15. A channel separation system including an intelligent reflective surface or repeater configured to switch a codebook of each reference signal to a corresponding intelligent reflective surface codebook when multiple reference signals are reflected by the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, each reference signal corresponding to one different intelligent reflective surface or repeater codebook.
16. and a base station configured to configure or negotiate with said intelligent reflective surface or repeater parameters for isolating logical channels of said intelligent reflective surface or repeater, said parameters comprising: a first parameter indicating the number of logical channels that need to be separated; a second parameter indicating a codebook set allocated to a logical channel of the intelligent reflective surface or repeater, the codebook set including a logical channel codebook corresponding to a number of logical channels; and a third parameter indicating a sub-matrix codebook arranged in a physical sub-matrix of each logical channel.
17. 17. The system of claim 16, wherein the base station is further configured to inform the intelligent reflective surface or repeater by signaling of the time slot and OFDM symbol position in which the deployed reference signal is located.
18. 17. The system of claim 16, wherein the base station is further configured to, after receiving the reference signal, separate logical channels of an intelligent reflective surface or repeater based on a post-reference signal switching codebook.
19. A computer readable storage medium having stored thereon a computer program which, when executed by a processor, implements the steps of the method according to any one of claims 1 to 14.
20. 15. An electronic device comprising a memory, a processor and a computer program stored in the memory and executable on the processor, the processor implementing the steps of the method according to any one of claims 1 to 14 when executing the computer program.
