Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to an emulsified hair cosmetic composition. [Background technology]

[0002] One of the common properties required of hair cosmetic compositions such as hair treatments is the effect of "taming the hair." Hair cosmetic compositions containing plant oils are known to achieve this taming effect (Patent Document 1). [Prior art documents] [Patent Documents]

[0003] [Patent Document 1] Japanese Patent Publication No. 2009-051817 [Overview of the project] [Problems that the invention aims to solve]

[0004] Conventional hair cosmetic compositions that are highly effective at taming hair tend to leave hair feeling sticky due to ingredients that contribute to this effect, such as plant oils, and their ability to "smooth the hair surface" is easily diminished.

[0005] While ingredients such as highly polymerized dimethicone and highly polymerized dimethiconol are known to have a smoothing effect on the hair surface, incorporating these ingredients reduces the hair-smoothing effect.

[0006] Conventional hair cosmetic compositions have difficulty enhancing both the effect of making hair manageable and the effect of smoothing the hair surface.

[0007] The object of the present invention is to provide an emulsified hair cosmetic composition that can enhance both the effect of making hair manageable and the effect of making the hair surface smooth. [Means for solving the problem]

[0105] The above emulsified hair cosmetic composition preferably contains, or does not contain, a silicone oil (hereinafter sometimes referred to as silicone oil (X1)) selected from the group consisting of dimethicone and dimethiconol, having a viscosity of 1,000,000 mPa·s or more at 25°C, or in an amount of 1.0% by mass or less. The above silicone oil (X1) is a silicone oil selected from the group consisting of dimethicone and dimethiconol. The above silicone oil (X1) is a silicone oil having a viscosity of 1,000,000 mPa·s or more at 25°C.

[0106] When the emulsified hair cosmetic composition contains the silicone oil (X1), the content of the silicone oil (X1) in 100% by mass of the emulsified hair cosmetic composition is preferably 1.0% by mass or less, more preferably 0.5% by mass or less. In this case, the effect of smoothing the hair can be further enhanced.

[0107] (Further details on the emulsified hair cosmetic composition) The above emulsified hair cosmetic composition is preferably an oil-in-water (O / W) type emulsified hair cosmetic composition.

[0108] Examples of the emulsified hair cosmetic composition include hair treatments (including hair rinses and hair conditioners) and hair styling compositions. The emulsified hair cosmetic composition is preferably a hair treatment. The hair treatment may be a hair treatment that is rinsed off (so-called in-bath treatment) or a hair treatment that is left on (so-called out-bath treatment). The emulsified hair cosmetic composition is preferably an emulsified hair cosmetic composition that is applied to the hair and then rinsed off.

[0109] As a method for producing the above-mentioned emulsified hair cosmetic composition, a known method for producing an emulsified hair cosmetic composition can be employed. Examples of methods for producing the above-mentioned emulsified hair cosmetic composition include stirring each component with a paddle mixer or the like to make them homogenized. [Examples]

[0118] (Examples 1-26 and Comparative Example 1) An emulsified hair cosmetic composition was prepared by combining the ingredients shown in Tables 1 to 5 below.

[0119] In Examples 1-11, 13-16 and Comparative Example 1, the amounts of each ingredient in the table (amount in 100% by mass of the emulsified hair cosmetic composition) are shown in terms of net content (unit: mass%).

[0120] In Example 12, the amounts of each ingredient in the table (amount in 100% by mass of the emulsified hair cosmetic composition) are shown in net amounts (unit: mass%), except for the "mixture of highly polymerized dimethylpolysiloxane and hydrogenated polyisobutene," for which the amount of the mixture itself (amount in the product) (unit: mass%) is shown.

[0121] In Examples 17 to 26, the amounts of each ingredient in the table (amount in 100% by mass of the emulsified hair cosmetic composition) are shown as net amounts (unit: mass%), except for the "mixture of polysilicone-13 and hydrogenated polyisobutene," for which the amount of the mixture itself (amount in the product) (unit: mass%) is shown.

[0122] Furthermore, in the table, the amount of citric acid used is the amount that results in a pH of 3.5 to 5.0 in the resulting emulsified hair cosmetic composition (within the range of 0.01% to 0.1% by mass).

[0123] (evaluation) The following evaluations were conducted on the obtained emulsified hair cosmetic compositions. The evaluation results are shown in the table. The evaluations were performed by five expert evaluators.

[0124] (Test example 1: Hair cohesion) Using the obtained emulsified hair cosmetic composition, a hair bundle (human hair, 30 cm in length, 10 g in weight) was treated as follows: The hair bundle was immersed in lukewarm water at approximately 40°C. After immersion, the hair bundle was lightly squeezed to remove some of the moisture, and then 2 g of the emulsified hair cosmetic composition was taken in the hand and applied evenly to the entire hair bundle. The hair bundle was rinsed with running water (lukewarm water at approximately 40°C) for about 1 minute, dried with a hairdryer, and prepared as the evaluation hair bundle (hair bundle after treatment). The evaluation hair bundle immediately after drying was visually observed and evaluated according to the following criteria.

[0125] <Criteria for evaluating hair manageability> ○○ (Excellent): The hair strands do not spread out downwards, the entire strand is neatly bundled, and even the hairs at the ends of the strands are bundled together. ○ (Good): The hair bundles do not spread out downwards and the bundles as a whole are cohesive, but the hairs at the ends of the bundles are separated. × (Defective): The hair strands are spreading downwards.

[0126] (Test example 2: Smoothness of the hair surface) After evaluating Test Example 1, the evaluation hair bundle was held between the thumb and index finger and the fingers were slid from the root to the tip to check its texture. Similarly, the hair bundle that had not been treated with the hair cosmetic composition (untreated hair bundle) was also held between the thumb and index finger and the fingers were slid from the root to the tip to check its texture. The texture of the evaluation hair bundle and the untreated hair bundle was compared and evaluated according to the following criteria.

[0127] <Evaluation criteria for hair surface smoothness> ○ (Good): Compared to the untreated hair bundle, the resistance when sliding your fingers over the evaluation hair bundle is noticeably less. × (Poor): The resistance when sliding your fingers over the evaluation hair bundle is perceived to be the same as or greater than that of the untreated hair bundle.

[0128] The composition and results are shown in Tables 1-5 below.

[0129] [Table 1]

[0130] [Table 2]

[0131] [Table 3]

[0132] [Table 4]

[0133] [Table 5]

[0134] The evaluation hair bundles, which had been treated with the emulsified hair cosmetic composition obtained in the examples, and the untreated hair bundles, which had not been treated with the hair cosmetic composition, were both lightly grasped in the longitudinal direction at the center of each bundle, and the flexibility of the hair bundles felt at that time was evaluated. As a result, the evaluation hair bundles treated with the emulsified hair cosmetic composition obtained in Examples 1-13 and 15-26 showed a clear improvement in flexibility compared to the untreated hair bundles. In addition, the evaluation hair bundles treated with the emulsified hair cosmetic composition obtained in Example 14 showed a slight improvement in flexibility compared to the untreated hair bundles.
