Abstract

The glass ceramic matrix comprises an amorphous glass matrix and a crystalline phase dispersed in the glass matrix, wherein the crystalline phase includes at least one selected from Lucite crystalline phase and lithium disilicate crystalline phase as the main crystalline phase, and polymer is included in an amount of 20-40% by weight relative to the total weight of the bulk block, and has a gradient of light transmittance in the depth direction, with interfaces existing at the points where the light transmittance gradient value changes. This discloses a composite bulk block for the fabrication of dental prostheses that can quickly and easily fabricate aesthetic and functional restorations while mimicking natural teeth.
