The present invention relates to a personal care composition comprising hydroxypyridone, niacinamide, and panthenol, wherein the composition exhibits synergistic antioxidant activity when the hydroxypyridone is approximately 0.8%, the niacinamide is approximately 0.005% to approximately 0.1%, and the panthenol is approximately 0.005% to approximately 0.2%.
