Brief Description of the Drawings
[0007] [Figure 1] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the storage item display tool.
Modes for Carrying Out the Invention
[0008] (Description of an Embodiment of the Present Disclosure) First, the embodiments of this disclosure will be listed and described.
[0009] (1) The storage indicator of the present disclosure comprises a base and a rod portion having a length of 1 m or more and 1.8 m or less, and erected from the upper surface of the base.
[0010] According to this disclosure, a rod portion having a length of 1 m to 1.8 m is erected from the upper surface of the base. Because the rod portion is relatively long, it is more easily visible to the user compared to when the tape is attached to the floor. Therefore, the user can easily see the storage item indicator including the rod portion.
[0011] (2) The storage item indicator described in (1) above may further include a spherical portion provided at the upper end of the rod portion.
[0012] According to this disclosure, a spherical portion is provided at the upper end of the rod portion. Therefore, even if the upper end of the rod portion is sharp, the user is less likely to be injured. In addition, the visibility of the stored item indicator can be further improved compared to cases where the spherical portion is not provided.
[0013] (3) In (2) above, the spherical part may include a sponge material.
[0014] According to this disclosure, the spherical part includes a sponge material. Because the sponge material absorbs impact, even if a user comes into contact with the spherical part, the user is less likely to be injured.
[0015] (4) In (2) or (3) above, the spherical portion may have a fluorescent color.
[0016] According to this disclosure, since the spherical part has a fluorescent color, the visibility of the spherical part can be further enhanced.
[0017] (5) In any of the above (1) to (4), the rod portion is made of metal. The cross-section of the rod portion is circular, and the circular diameter of the rod portion may be 10 mm or more and 55 mm or less.
[0018] According to this disclosure, since the rod portion is made of metal, its mechanical strength is higher compared to other materials. Furthermore, because the cross-section of the rod portion is circular and the diameter of this circular portion is 10 mm or more, the user can easily see the rod portion. However, if the diameter of the circular portion of the metal rod portion is too large, the storage item indicator becomes heavy and difficult to transport. According to this disclosure, since the diameter of the circular portion of the rod portion is 55 mm or less, the storage item indicator is easy to transport.
[0019] (6) In any of (1) to (5) above, the base may further comprise a plurality of support beams, each extending from the side of the base in a second direction perpendicular to the vertical and the first direction, and spaced apart from each other in the first direction.
[0020] According to this disclosure, each of the multiple support beam sections extends from the side of the base along a second direction and is spaced apart from one another in the first direction. Therefore, the rod section erected from the top of the base is more likely to stand on its own.
[0021] (7) In the above (6), the base portion has a first end and a second end located opposite to the first end, and the plurality of support beam portions may include at least two support beam portions between the first end and the second end.
[0022] On top of the plurality of support beam portions, there may be placed a pallet or a loading platform used when transporting stored items. The length of the pallet in the first direction is not uniform and may be shorter than the total length of the base portion in the first direction, that is, the length between the first end portion and the second end portion. If there is only one support beam portion provided between the first end portion and the second end portion and a pallet shorter than the total length of the base portion is placed on top of the one support beam portion, the pallet will be supported by only one support beam portion, and the pallet is likely to tilt. In the present disclosure, since at least two support beam portions are provided between the first end portion and the second end portion, even if it is a short pallet, the pallet can be supported by the two support beam portions, and it is easy to maintain the pallet in a horizontal posture.
[0023] (Details of an embodiment of the present disclosure) A specific example of the stored item display device 1 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure will be described while referring to the drawings. In the present embodiment, the "upward direction", "downward direction", "left direction", "right direction", "front direction", and "rear direction" are relative directions set for the sake of convenience of explanation with respect to the stored item display device 1 illustrated in FIG. 1. Note that the present disclosure is not limited to these examples, and is shown by the scope of utility model registration claims, and it is intended that all changes within the meaning and scope equivalent to the scope of utility model registration claims are included.
[0024] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the stored item display device 1. The stored item display device 1 is configured to indicate, for example, that stored items S such as cardboard boxes are placed inside a factory. As illustrated in FIG. 1, the stored item display device 1 includes a base portion 11 and a rod portion 12.
[0025] The base portion 11 extends in the first direction D1 and has a cylindrical shape. The first direction D1 is, for example, a horizontal direction and is the right direction in FIG. 1. The base portion 11 is, for example, made of metal.
[0026] The base 11 has a first end 111 and a second end 112. The first end 111 is the right end of the base 11 as viewed from the stored item S. The second end 112 is located opposite the first end 111 in the first direction D1 and is the left end of the base 11 as viewed from the stored item S. The length L11 of the base 11 in the first direction D1, in other words, the length L11 between the first end 111 and the second end 112, is, for example, 0.8m or more and 1.3m or less.
[0027] The rod portion 12 is erected from the upper surface 113 of the base portion 11. The rod portion 12 does not necessarily have to be parallel to the vertically upward direction DU from the upper surface 113 of the base portion 11. The rod portion 12 may be inclined with respect to the vertically upward direction DU, for example. The length L12 of the rod portion 12 in the vertically upward direction DU is 1m or more and 1.8m or less.
[0028] When the rod portion 12 is erected vertically upward DU from the upper surface 113 of the base portion 11, the rod portion 12 has a circular shape in a cross-sectional view perpendicular to the vertical upward DU. The circular diameter of the rod portion 12 is between 10 mm and 55 mm. Furthermore, the rod portion 12 is made of metal.
[0029] In this embodiment, the storage item indicator 1 has a first rod portion 121 and a second rod portion 122. The first rod portion 121 is erected from the upper surface 113 of the first end portion 111 of the base portion 11. The second rod portion 122 is erected from the upper surface 113 of the second end portion 112 of the base portion 11.
[0030] The storage indicator 1 further comprises at least one support beam portion 14. In this embodiment, the storage indicator 1 comprises a plurality of support beam portions 14. Each of the plurality of support beam portions 14 is cylindrical in shape. As illustrated in Figure 1, each of the plurality of support beam portions 14 extends from the side portion 114 of the base portion 11 along a second direction D2 perpendicular to both the vertically upward direction and the first direction D1. The second direction D2 is, for example, the horizontal direction, which is the rear direction in Figure 1. Furthermore, the plurality of support beam portions 14 are spaced apart from each other in the first direction D1. Each of the plurality of support beam portions 14 is, for example, made of metal.
[0031] Multiple support beams 14 can be used to place stored items S or pallets P, which will be described later.
[0032] As illustrated in Figure 1, the storage item indicator 1 comprises a first support beam 141, a second support beam 142, a third support beam 143, and a fourth support beam 144. The first support beam 141, the second support beam 142, the third support beam 143, and the fourth support beam 144 are arranged at equal intervals in the first direction D1.
[0033] The first support beam section 141 extends in the second direction D2 from the side portion 114 of the first end portion 111 of the base portion 11.
[0034] The second support beam section 142 extends in a second direction from the side portion 114 of the second end portion 112 of the base portion 11.
[0035] The third support beam section 143 is located between the first support beam section 141 and the second support beam section 142 in the first direction D1. The third support beam section 143 is located to the left of the first support beam section 141.
[0036] The fourth support beam section 144 is provided between the first support beam section 141 and the second support beam section 142 in the first direction D1. The fourth support beam section 144 is, for example, provided between the second support beam section 142 and the third support beam section 143, and to the right of the second support beam section 142.
[0037] Thus, in this embodiment, the plurality of support beams 14 include at least two support beams 14, namely a third support beam 143 and a fourth support beam 144, between the first end 111 and the second end 112 of the base 11.
[0038] Next, the method of using the storage item indicator 1 will be described. The storage item indicator 1 of this embodiment is configured to indicate, for example, that a storage item S is present in a factory. The storage item S may be placed between the first end 111 and the second end 112 of the base 11 in the first direction D1. Furthermore, the storage item S may be placed further back than the base 11.
[0039] The stored items S may be placed on a pallet P or loading platform used when transporting the stored items S. The stored items S and the pallet P, etc., may be placed together in the first direction D1 between the first end 111 and the second end 112, and behind the base 11 (see Figure 1).
[0040] When only the stored item S is placed, or when the stored item S and the pallet P are placed together, the stored item indicator 1 indicates that the stored item S or the stored item S and the pallet P are actually placed there.
[0041] Furthermore, the storage item indicator 1 of this embodiment may not only indicate that the storage item S is actually present, but also indicate the possibility that the storage item S may be present in the future or that the storage item S was present in the past. For example, only an empty pallet P, on which the storage item S is not placed, may be placed in the first direction D1 between the first end 111 and the second end 112, and behind the base 11. In this case, although the storage item S is not actually present, the storage item indicator 1 indicates that an empty pallet P is present, as well as the possibility that the storage item S may be present or that the storage item S was present in the past.
[0042] The stored items S and empty pallets P are not necessarily within the user's line of sight. Unlike this embodiment, the location of the stored items S and pallets P may be indicated by tape on the floor. However, such tape has almost no height in the vertical direction, making it difficult for the user to see. Even when relatively low stored items S and empty pallets P are placed on the factory floor and their locations are indicated by tape, the stored items S and empty pallets P tend to be in the user's blind spot. For users who wear glasses, the area around the outer frame of their glasses, specifically the range of 0.5m to 0.6m around the user's feet, is particularly prone to being a blind spot. If stored items S or empty pallets P are placed in such a blind spot, the user is likely to trip over the stored items S or empty pallets P without noticing them, and a bad fall could result in serious injury.
[0043] According to this embodiment, a rod portion 12 having a length of 1 m to 1.8 m is erected from the upper surface 113 of the base portion 11. Because the length L12 of the rod portion 12 is relatively long, the rod portion 12 is more easily visible to the user compared to when the tape is attached to the floor of the factory. By visually inspecting the storage item indicator 1 including the rod portion 12, the user can easily notice the stored items S or empty pallets P, and thus prevent injuries caused by tripping over the stored items S or empty pallets P.
[0044] In this embodiment, since the rod portion 12 is made of metal, its mechanical strength is higher compared to other materials. Furthermore, since the cross-section of the rod portion 12 is circular and the diameter of this circular shape is 10 mm or more, the user can easily see the rod portion 12. However, if the diameter of the circular shape of the metal rod portion 12 is too large, the entire storage item indicator 1 becomes heavy and difficult to transport. In this embodiment, since the diameter of the circular shape of the rod portion 12 is 55 mm or less, the storage item indicator 1 is easy to transport.
[0045] In this embodiment, the base 11 is cylindrical. Unlike this embodiment, if the base 11 were plate-shaped, the entire storage item indicator 1, including the base 11, would become heavy and difficult to transport. In this embodiment, since the base 11 is cylindrical, the storage item indicator 1 is easy to transport.
[0046] According to this embodiment, since the storage item indicator 1 is equipped with at least one support beam portion 14, the rod portion 12 erected from the upper surface 113 of the base portion 11 is more likely to stand on its own. Because the rod portion 12, which has a relatively long length, is more likely to stand on its own, the visibility of the storage item indicator 1, including the rod portion 12, can be further improved.
[0047] Furthermore, according to this embodiment, the first support beam portion 141, the second support beam portion 142, the third support beam portion 143, and the fourth support beam portion 144 each extend from the side portion 114 of the base portion 11 along the second direction D2 and are spaced apart from each other in the first direction D1. Because multiple support beam portions 14 are provided in this way, the rod portion 12 erected from the upper surface 113 of the base portion 11 is more stable and self-supporting. Therefore, the visibility of the storage item indicator 1 including the rod portion 12 can be further improved.
[0048] Furthermore, the length of the stored items S or the length of the pallet P in the first direction D1 is not uniform and may be shorter than the length L11 of the base 11 in the first direction D1. If only one support beam 14 is provided between the first end 111 and the second end 112, and a pallet P shorter than the length L11 of the base 11 is placed on that single support beam 14, the pallet P will be supported by only one support beam 14, making the pallet P prone to tilting.
[0049] On the other hand, as illustrated in Figure 1, in this embodiment, at least two support beams 14, namely a third support beam 143 and a fourth support beam 144, are provided between the first end 111 and the second end 112. Therefore, even if the pallet P is short, it can be supported by both the third support beam 143 and the fourth support beam 144, making it easier to maintain the pallet P in a horizontal position.
[0050] The storage item indicator 1 includes a base portion 11 and a rod portion 12, as well as a spherical portion 13. The spherical portion 13 is provided at the upper end 123 of the rod portion 12. The spherical portion 13 may have a first spherical portion 131 and a second spherical portion 132. The first spherical portion 131 may be provided at the upper end 123 of the first rod portion 121, and the second spherical portion 132 may be provided at the upper end 123 of the second rod portion 122.
[0051] The diameter of the spherical part 13 is, for example, 60 mm or more and 80 mm or less. If the diameter of the spherical part 13 is larger than the circular diameter of the rod part 12, the user can see the spherical part 13 more easily.
[0052] Because the spherical portion 13 is provided on the upper end 123 of the rod portion 12, compared to a case where the spherical portion 13 is not provided, even if the upper end 123 of the rod portion 12 is sharp when the user comes into contact with it, the user is less likely to be injured by the upper end 123. Furthermore, the spherical portion 13 further improves the visibility of the stored item indicator 1 compared to a case where the spherical portion 13 is not provided.
[0053] The spherical portion 13 contains a sponge material. The material of the sponge material is, for example, polyurethane.
[0054] Because the sponge material of the spherical part 13 can absorb impact, even if a user comes into contact with the spherical part 13, the sponge material makes it less likely for the user to be injured.
[0055] The spherical portion 13 has a fluorescent color. Examples of fluorescent colors include yellow, orange, and red, but it is not limited to these colors.
[0056] Fluorescent colors are more vivid and easily attract the user's attention compared to non-fluorescent colors. Therefore, the visibility of the spherical part 13 can be further enhanced by the use of fluorescent colors, making it easier for the user to see the storage item indicator 1, including the spherical part 13.
[0057] Furthermore, the outer circumference 124 of the rod portion 12 may also have a fluorescent color. For example, the outer circumference of the metal cylinder forming the rod portion 12 may be coated with a resin layer having a fluorescent color. The fluorescent color of the rod portion 12 may be the same as or different from the fluorescent color of the spherical portion 13. The fluorescent color of the outer circumference 124 of the rod portion 12 can further enhance the visibility of the rod portion 12, making it easier for the user to see the storage indicator 1 including the rod portion 12.
[0058] In the embodiment described above, the storage indicator 1 has two rod sections, a first rod section 121 and a second rod section 122, but the number of rod sections 12 is not limited to two. The storage indicator 1 only needs to have at least one rod section 12. The storage indicator 1 may have three or more rod sections 12. In this case, the rod section 12 may be provided at least one of the rear end of the first support beam section 141 and the rear end of the second support beam section 142, in addition to the first end section 111 and the second end section 112.
[0059] In the embodiment described above, the storage indicator 1 is equipped with four support beams 14: a first support beam 141, a second support beam 142, a third support beam 143, and a fourth support beam 144. However, the number of support beams 14 is not limited to four. The storage indicator 1 only needs to be equipped with at least one support beam 14. For example, the storage indicator 1 may be equipped with only the first support beam 141. The storage indicator 1 may be equipped with only the second support beam 142. In either case, the rod 12 can stand on its own. The user may make the rod 12 stand on its own by using a stopper to prevent the base 11 from rotating forward or backward, instead of one support beam 14.
[0060] Furthermore, the storage indicator 1 may be provided with at least two support beams 14 between the first end 111 and the second end 112 of the base 11. The storage indicator 1 may also be provided with three or more support beams 14 between the first end 111 and the second end 112 of the base 11. The positions of the three or more support beams 14 between the first end 111 and the second end 112 of the base 11 can be appropriately set according to the shape of the pallet P used.
[0061] In the embodiment described above, the first support beam section 141, the second support beam section 142, the third support beam section 143, and the fourth support beam section 144 are arranged at equal intervals in the first direction D1, but the arrangement of these four support beam sections 14 in the first direction D1 is not limited to equal intervals. The positions of the third support beam section 143 and the fourth support beam section 144 can be appropriately set according to the shape of the pallet P used.
[0062] Although this disclosure has been described in detail and with reference to specific embodiments, it will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of this disclosure. Furthermore, the number, position, shape, etc. of the components described above are not limited to the embodiments described above and can be changed to a number, position, shape, etc. that is suitable for carrying out this disclosure.
