【Claim 1】 a plurality of reels capable of variably displaying a plurality of symbols; a gaming machine comprising a plurality of stop buttons provided corresponding to each of the reels and capable of receiving a stop operation for the corresponding reel, wherein: each of the stop buttons is configured to be capable of emitting light, emits light in a first mode when a stop operation for the corresponding reel is possible, and emits light in a second mode different from the first mode when a stop operation for the corresponding reel is impossible; freeze effect means capable of executing a freeze effect in which a stop operation is invalidated for a predetermined period when a predetermined execution condition is satisfied; privilege granting means capable of granting a privilege when the freeze effect is executed; the freeze effect means is capable of starting the freeze effect from an execution timing corresponding to the established predetermined execution condition; the execution timing may occur when each of the stop buttons is emitting light in the first mode; and each of the stop buttons is characterized in that, when the freeze effect is started while emitting light in the first mode, it can continue to emit light in the first mode at least until the freeze effect ends.
