Summary of the Invention
Problems to be Solved by the Invention
[0004] However, in the conventional lighting devices described in the above-mentioned Patent Documents 1-3, since there are gaps between the plurality of parts, if dirt enters such gaps, it is difficult to remove the dirt, resulting in a problem of reduced cleanability. Therefore, how to improve the cleanability of the lighting device provided in the toilet or the cabinet behind it has become an issue that has been demanded in recent years.
[0005] Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems of the prior art and the problems demanded in recent years, and an object thereof is to provide a lighting device capable of irradiating the floor surface below a toilet bowl and having good cleanability, and a wall-mounted flushing toilet bowl equipped with the same.
Means for Solving the Problems
[0006] In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention is a lighting device for irradiating the floor surface below a toilet bowl, and includes a fixing portion fixed to the toilet bowl or a cabinet behind the toilet bowl, and a light-emitting portion including a light source attached to the fixing portion and emitting light, and a translucent cover formed of a translucent material and covering the light-emitting portion. The translucent cover is characterized in that, in a state of being fixed to the toilet bowl or the cabinet by the fixing portion, its exposed surface portion is composed of a single member integrally formed without a break. In the present invention configured as described above, the light emitted from the light source of the light-emitting portion passes through the translucent cover covering the light-emitting portion and irradiates the floor surface below the toilet bowl, so that the space and the floor surface below the toilet bowl can be brightly illuminated. In addition, with respect to the translucent cover in a state of being fixed to the toilet bowl or the cabinet by the fixing portion, since its exposed surface portion is composed of a single member integrally formed without a break, the risk of dirt entering the break of the surface portion of the translucent cover can be eliminated. Furthermore, even if dirt adheres to the surface portion of the translucent cover, since the translucent cover is composed of a single member integrally formed without a break, the wiping work of the surface portion is easy, so that the cleanability can be improved.
[0007] In the present invention, preferably, further, there is a fixing member for fixing the light source in the translucent cover, and the fixing member is provided so as to shield the upper part of the light source so that the light emitted from the light source does not diffuse upward. In the present invention configured as described above, a fixing member for fixing the light source of the light emitting portion is provided so as to shield the upper part of the light source so that the light emitted from the light source does not diffuse upward. By this, while this fixing member can prevent the upward diffusion of the light emitted from the light source of the light emitting portion and reduce the generation of unnecessary reflected light and shadows, it can surely diffuse the light to the floor surface below the toilet bowl.
[0008] In the present invention, preferably, further, it has a light shielding portion disposed below the light source, and an opening through which the light emitted from the light source can pass through is formed in this light shielding portion. In the present invention configured as described above, regarding the light shielding portion disposed below the light source of the light emitting portion, since an opening through which the light emitted from the light source can pass through is formed, when the light emitted from the light source of the light emitting portion passes through the opening of the light shielding portion and irradiates the floor surface below the toilet bowl, the brightness of the light passing through the opening can be adjusted, and at the same time, the directivity of the light can be enhanced by passing the light through the opening of the light shielding portion.
[0009] In the present invention, preferably, further, it has a light shielding auxiliary member provided between the fixing member and the translucent cover. In the present invention configured as described above, the light shielding auxiliary member provided between the fixing member and the translucent cover can eliminate the gap between the fixing member and the translucent cover. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the light emitted from the light source of the light emitting portion from irradiating the floor surface below the toilet bowl from other than the opening of the light shielding portion.
[0010] In the present invention, preferably, the translucent cover has a substantially flat surface on its irradiation side. In the present invention configured as described above, since the surface on the irradiation side of the translucent cover is formed to be substantially flat, when the light emitted from the light source of the light emitting portion passes through the surface on the irradiation side of the translucent cover and irradiates the floor surface below the toilet bowl, the spot feeling of the light condensed in a specific area of the floor surface can be enhanced.
[0011] Moreover, the present invention is a wall-mounted water-washing toilet equipped with the above lighting device. In the present invention configured as described above, it is possible to provide a wall-mounted water-washing toilet equipped with a lighting device that can brightly illuminate the space below the toilet and the floor surface and improve the cleanability.

This illumination device 14 is fixed to the rear wall portion 2a of the toilet bowl body 2 and is capable of irradiating light onto the floor surface F below the toilet bowl body 2.
[0017] Next, FIG. 4 is a rear view of a wall-mounted flushing toilet according to an embodiment of the present invention, and FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view taken along line V-V of FIG. 3. As shown in FIGS. 1, 2, 4, and 5, in the toilet bowl body 2 in a state where the ceramic toilet bowl body 2 is fixed to the wall W by the fixing unit U, an inlet portion 16a, which is the upstream end (rear end) of the main water conduit 16 formed on the upstream side of the bowl portion 8, is connected to a water supply pipe 18 extending downstream from the water storage tank 4a of the washing water supply device 4. On one hand, in the toilet bowl body 2 fixed to the wall W by the fixing unit U, at the outlet portion 10f which is the downstream end (rear end) of the drain trap portion 10, it is connected to a drain pipe 20 that extends upward from the floor surface F on the back side of the wall W and then bends forward and extends. Here, for the wall-mounted flush toilet 1 of the present embodiment, it may be a so-called "washing-down type" flush toilet that washes off dirt in the bowl portion 8 due to the height difference in the vertical direction of the bowl portion 8 in the toilet bowl body 2, or it may be in the form of other flush toilets such as a so-called "siphon type" flush toilet that utilizes the siphon action to suck in the dirt in the bowl portion 8 and discharge it from the drain trap portion 10 to the outside.
[0018] Next, with reference to FIGS. 2 to 9, the details of the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment will be described. FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment as viewed obliquely from below. FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment. Further, FIG. 8 is a central side cross-sectional view of the lighting device 14 in a state fixed to the toilet bowl body 2 of the wall-mounted flush toilet 1 according to the present embodiment. FIG. 9 is a schematic central side cross-sectional view of the wall-mounted flush toilet 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention, showing a state where the lighting device 14 irradiates light onto the floor surface F.
[0019] First, as shown in FIGS. 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9, the lighting device 14 is provided in the internal space S of the toilet bowl body 2 below the descending pipe 10e of the drain trap portion 10 of the toilet bowl body 2. Here, in FIG. 9, a predetermined floor surface area where the entire light L irradiated from the lighting device 14 is irradiated is defined as the "irradiation area A". The outer shape of the irradiation area A in plan view is substantially circular and is the diffusion range A of the light L irradiated onto the floor surface F. Also, the light irradiated to the center O1 of this irradiation area A (diffusion range A) is defined as the "light L1 at the center O1 of the diffusion range A". Furthermore, among the entire light L irradiated from the lighting device 14 to the irradiation area A (diffusion range A) on the floor surface F shown in FIG. 9, the light L with the maximum illuminance is defined as "the light L2 with the maximum illuminance", and the point O2 within the irradiation area A irradiated with this light L2 with the maximum illuminance is defined as "the center O2 of the light L". Next, as shown in FIG. 9, the lighting device 14 is arranged such that the center O2 of the light L2 with the maximum illuminance to be irradiated is positioned in front of the rear wall portion 2a of the toilet body 2. Also, as shown in FIG. 9, the lighting device 14 is arranged such that the light L3 irradiated to the most forward side does not overlap with the lowermost end portion 10b of the drain trap portion 10 of the toilet body 2 and is irradiated in front of this lowermost end portion 10b. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 9, the lighting device 14 is arranged such that the center O2 of the light L2 with the maximum illuminance to be irradiated is positioned behind the lowermost end portion 10b of the drain trap portion 10 of the toilet body 2. Also, as shown in FIGS. 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9, the toilet body 2 is provided with a wall surface S1 that forms the internal space S where the lighting device 14 is provided, and a glaze G is applied to at least a part of the surface of this wall surface S1.
[0020] Next, as shown in FIGS. 3 to 9, although details such as the configuration and internal structure of each part of the lighting device 14 will be described later, it is fixed to the front side of the rear wall portion 2a of the toilet body 2. Also, regarding the fixing of the lighting device 14 to the rear wall portion 2a of the toilet body 2, it is fixed by a pair of fastening members (tapping screws 22, 22, washers 24, 24) from the rear side of the rear wall portion 2a.
[0021] Next, with reference to FIGS. 5 to 8, details of the configuration and internal structure of each part of the lighting device 14 will be described. First, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, each component of the lighting device 14 includes, from the rear side to the front side, a pair of tapping screws 22, 22, a pair of washers 24, 24, a pottery side water stop packing 26, a plurality (four) of main body fixing screws 28, 28, 28, 28, a housing 30, a power supply harness 32, an LED substrate 34, a plurality (two) of substrate fixing screws 36, 36, a main body side water stop packing 38, and a light-transmissive cover 40. The housing 30 is entirely made of a light-shielding material (a material that is difficult to transmit light), and a fixing portion 30a provided on the rear side thereof is fixed from the rear side by a pair of fastening members (tapping screws 22, 22 and washers 24, 24). As a result, the fixing portion 30a of the housing 30 is fixed to the front side of the rear wall portion 2a of the toilet body 2 via the pottery side water stop packing 26 on the rear side thereof. Further, the housing 30 includes a support receiving portion 30b that protrudes forward from the rear end portion. The side wall 30c of the support receiving portion 30b is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in a plan view so as to surround the internal space. Furthermore, an LED substrate 34 is attached to the upper end portion of the side wall 30c in the support receiving portion 30b of the housing 30. The LED substrate 34 is fixed to the support receiving portion 30b by a plurality (two) of substrate fixing screws 36, 36. Here, the LED substrate 34 serves as a light emitting portion including a plurality (four) of light sources (LED elements 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a) arranged in the left-right direction on the lower surface thereof. Also, one end side of the power supply harness 32 is electrically connected to a part of the LED substrate 34, and the other end side is electrically connected to a power supply cable (not shown) that supplies power to a functional portion (not shown) of the water-washed toilet 1 via a connector (not shown).
[0022] Next, as shown in FIGS. 5 to 8, the light-transmissive cover 40 is formed of a light-transmissive material and is attached so as to cover the support receiving portion 30b of the housing 30 and the LED substrate 34 from above, below, the left and right sides, and the front. Further, the rear side of the light-transmissive cover 40 is fixed to the front surface of the fixing portion 30a of the housing 30 via the main body side water stop packing 38 by a plurality (four) of main body fixing screws 28, 28, 28, 28 attached from the rear side of the fixing portion 30a of the housing 30. Further, the light-transmissive cover 40 is composed of a single member in which the exposed surface portion is integrally formed without a break. Furthermore, the light-transmissive cover 40 has a substantially flat surface 40a (lower surface 40a) on the irradiation side.
[0023] Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 6 to 8, the LED substrate 34 includes a thin plate-shaped substrate member 34b having a plurality (four) of light sources (LED elements 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a) arranged in the left-right direction on its lower surface. This substrate member 34b is a fixing member for fixing a plurality (four) of light sources (LED elements 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a) into the light-transmissive cover 40, and functions as a shielding member for shielding the upper sides of the respective light sources 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a so that the light L emitted from each light source 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a does not diffuse upward. More specifically, since the housing 30 itself is open upward, the substrate member 34b of the LED substrate 34 itself blocks the light upward, and for the light that leaks upward around the LED substrate 34, the housing 30 itself made of a material that is difficult to transmit light blocks it.
[0024] Next, the housing 30 includes a light shielding portion 30d provided at the lower end of its support receiving portion 30b. Also, in this light shielding portion 30d, the opening 30e provided below each light source 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a is formed so that the light L emitted from each light source 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a can penetrate the light shielding portion 30d in the vertical direction.
[0025] Furthermore, the housing 30 also serves as a fixing member for fixing the LED substrate 34 (each light source 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a) inside the light-transmissive cover 40. In addition, the main body side water stop packing 38 makes the space (gap) between the front surface of the fixing portion 30a of the housing 30, which is such a fixing member, and the rear side step portion (rear side step portion 40b) inside the light-transmitting cover 40 facing the front surface in the front-rear direction watertight, and also functions as a light-shielding auxiliary member that assists in light shielding so that the light L emitted from each of the light sources 34a, 34a, 34a, 34a does not shine out from the space (gap) between the front surface of the fixing portion 30a of the housing 30 and the rear side step portion 40b inside the light-transmitting cover 40.
[0026] Next, with reference to FIGS. 1 to 10, the operation of the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described. FIG. 10 is a schematic perspective view of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, showing a state in which the lighting device 14 irradiates light on the floor surface F. According to the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the above-described present embodiment, the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) of the light emitting portion (LED substrate 34) passes through the light-transmitting cover 40 covering the light emitting portion (LED substrate 34) and is irradiated onto the floor surface F below the toilet body 2. Therefore, the space below the toilet body 2 and the floor surface F can be brightly illuminated. Regarding the light-transmitting cover 40 in a state of being fixed to the rear wall portion 2a of the toilet body 2 by the fixing portion (fixing portion 30a of the housing 30) of the lighting device 14, since the exposed surface portion is formed of a single member integrally formed without a break, the risk of dirt entering the break in the surface portion of the light-transmitting cover 40 can be eliminated. Furthermore, even if dirt adheres to the surface portion of the light-transmitting cover 40, since the light-transmitting cover 40 is formed of a single member integrally formed without a break, the wiping work of the surface portion and the like is easy, so that the cleanability can be improved.
[0027] Further, according to the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the fixing member (substrate member 34b) that fixes the light source (LED element 34a) of the light-emitting part (LED substrate 34) within the translucent cover 40 is provided so as to shield the upper part of the light source (LED element 34a) so that the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) does not diffuse upward. As a result, the substrate member 34b itself prevents the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) of the light-emitting part (LED substrate 34) from diffusing upward, and for the light that leaks upward around the LED substrate 34, the housing 30 itself made of a light-shielding material blocks it, and while it is possible to reduce the generation of unnecessary reflected light and shadows, it is possible to reliably diffuse light to the floor surface F below the toilet body 2.
[0028] Furthermore, according to the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, an opening 30e that penetrates the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) in a light-transmitting manner is formed in the light-shielding part 30d of the housing 30 disposed below the light source (LED element 34a) of the light-emitting part (LED substrate 34). As a result, when the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) of the light-emitting part (LED substrate 34) passes through the opening 30e of the light-shielding part 30d of the housing 30 and irradiates the floor surface F below the toilet body 2, the brightness of the light L passing through the opening 30e can be adjusted, and the directivity of the light L can be enhanced by passing the light L through the opening 30e of the light-shielding part 30d.
[0029] Moreover, according to the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the light-shielding auxiliary member (main body side water stop packing 38) provided between the fixing member (housing 30) and the translucent cover 40 can eliminate the gap in the front-rear direction between the housing 30 and the translucent cover 40. Therefore, it is possible to suppress the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) of the light-emitting part (LED substrate 34) from irradiating the floor surface F below the toilet body 2 from other than the opening 30e of the light-shielding part 30d.
[0030] Furthermore, according to the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, the irradiation-side surface (lower surface 40a) of the translucent cover 40 is formed to be substantially flat. As a result, when the light L emitted from the light source (LED element 34a) of the light-emitting part (LED substrate 34) passes through the irradiation-side surface (lower surface 40a) of the translucent cover 40 and irradiates the floor surface F below the toilet body 2, the spot feeling of the light L condensed on the specific area A of the floor surface F can be enhanced.
[0031] In addition, according to the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 according to the present embodiment, it is possible to provide a wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 equipped with a lighting device 14 that can brightly illuminate the space below the toilet body 2 and the floor surface F and improve the cleanability.
[0032] In the lighting device 14 of the wall-mounted flushing toilet 1 of the present embodiment described above, the form in which the lighting device 14 is provided in the internal space S of the toilet body 2 behind the lowermost end portion 10b of the drain trap portion 10 and above the lower end 12a of the skirt portion 12 has been described. However, the present invention is not limited to such a form, and the lighting device 14 may be provided at a position below the toilet body 2 on the wall W side or the cabinet side behind the toilet body 2 so as not to be visible from the user side of the toilet body 2.
