Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to artificial eyelashes, and more particularly to a method for manufacturing artificial eyelashes. [Background technology]

[0002] Generally, artificial eyelashes are made from synthetic or human hair and are used in place of or in addition to natural eyelashes.

[0003] The existing method of manufacturing artificial eyelashes can be roughly explained as follows: (a) first, a design for the artificial eyelashes is designed; (b) artificial hair or human hair is attached to the designed design and glued; (c) the glued artificial eyelashes are dried and then unnecessary parts are cut off; (d) the artificial eyelashes are shaped by rolling them with a stick; and (e) the completed artificial eyelashes are attached to a tray and then packaged.

[0004] The design stage is made in 2D, but the product is 3D. Due to the discrepancies between human error and inexperienced workers during product production, skilled workers are preferred. However, the number of skilled workers tends to decrease over time, which poses a problem. Furthermore, in the attachment and gluing stages, skilled workers must attach the yarn along the lines of the design while looking at the blueprint. After gluing, the cutting stage involves cutting along the reference line. The rolling stage is a process that transforms a 2D product into a 3D product. Depending on the diameter of the aluminum rod required by the customer, the product is divided into J, JC, C, and D curls, wound onto the rod, and heated in a chamber at a temperature of 100-150°C. After rolling, the rolled products are sorted and attached to the trays requested by the customer, completing the packaging.

[0005] However, with these existing artificial eyelash manufacturing methods, it is not possible to verify the actual product based on the design drawings alone, and skilled workers are required to make corrections after production. Furthermore, the threads used in the attachment process are packaged in bundles of multiple strands, making them difficult to handle. The threads are light in weight and thin, and their shape changes depending on the number of hairs, requiring a long process time. Furthermore, a pair of eyelashes contains approximately 150 to 200 strands of thread, and precision processing of these strands is not worth the effort, making it unpopular with workers, and therefore the process can only be carried out in countries with low labor costs (such as Vietnam or Indonesia).

[0006] As mentioned above, eyelashes can only be manufactured by skilled workers. Eyelashes are made up of multiple layers, and laminating them requires a high level of product understanding from the attaching process personnel (attachment that takes into account the manufacturer's errors), which takes a considerable amount of time when produced by unskilled workers. Furthermore, the semi-finished product, which has already been laminated with glue, is placed in a jig, and the bobbin thread is set up before the glue is applied. During this process, air bubbles in the glue and tension in the bobbin thread can cause product defects. Therefore, there is a need to reduce the steps and time required to manufacture artificial eyelashes by automating all or part of the manufacturing process. Summary of the Invention [Problem to be solved by the invention]

[0007] The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing artificial eyelashes that automates the manufacturing process of artificial eyelashes by forming cutting lines (cracks or scratches) in a raw material film with a laser cutting machine and then processing the film using a cutting solution. [Means for solving the problem]

[0008] To solve the above problems, the method for manufacturing artificial eyelashes of the present invention includes the steps of: forming cutting lines corresponding to the artificial eyelashes in a plastic film of a certain thickness using a laser cutting machine; and forming the artificial eyelashes by submerging the plastic film with the cutting lines formed in a cutting solution contained in a cutting container; wherein the step of forming the artificial eyelashes is characterized in that the tip of the artificial eyelashes is formed by submerging the tip of the plastic film corresponding to the tip of the artificial eyelash in the cutting solution for a relatively longer period of time.

[0009] The plastic film is characterized by being a film produced by mixing terephthalic acid, dicarboxylic acid, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, a flame retardant, a hydrolyzing agent, and an antioxidant.

[0010] The cutting solution is any one of a sodium hydroxide solution, a calcium hydroxide solution, and a potassium hydroxide solution.

[0011] The forming of the cutting line may have a width of 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm.

[0012] The step of forming the artificial eyelashes is characterized in that the concentration of the cutting solution is 25% or more and 40% or less.

[0013] The step of forming the artificial eyelashes is characterized in that the temperature of the cutting solution is 70°C or more and 90°C or less.

[0014] The step of forming the artificial eyelashes is characterized in that the immersion time of the plastic film in the cutting solution is 5 hours or more and 40 hours or less. [Effects of the Invention]

[0015] According to the present invention, the plastic film with cutting lines (cracks or scratches) formed thereon is immersed in a cutting solution contained in a cutting container to form sharp tips of the artificial eyelashes, thereby producing artificial eyelashes with sharp tips. In this case, the cutting thickness of the tips of the artificial eyelashes produced according to the present invention can be formed to a sharpness of up to 0.01 mm. Furthermore, according to the present invention, uniform products can be produced using manufacturing equipment without relying on skilled workers, thereby preventing causes of product defects and reducing deterioration in product quality, making it possible to produce a wide variety of products in small quantities. Furthermore, in the production of semi-finished eyelash products, it is easy to produce too much or too little depending on the capabilities of each individual, which makes inventory management difficult and leads to the production of more work than the actual order amount. However, according to the present invention, since the same products are always produced under the same conditions through manufacturing using equipment, there is no need to stock excessive semi-finished products, and it is possible to produce a wide variety of products in small quantities. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0017] DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.

[0018] The embodiments of the present invention are provided to more completely explain the present invention to those skilled in the art, and the following embodiments may be modified into various other forms, and the scope of the present invention is not limited to the following embodiments. Rather, these embodiments are provided to make the present disclosure more complete and thorough, and to fully convey the concept of the present invention to those skilled in the art. The terms used herein are used to describe particular embodiments and are not intended to limit the present invention. As used herein, the singular forms "a," "an," and "the" may include the plural forms unless the context clearly dictates otherwise. As used herein, the term "and / or" includes any one and any combination of one or more of the associated listed items.

[0019] FIG. 1 is a program chart illustrating the method for producing artificial eyelashes according to the present invention.

[0020] First, a laser cutting machine is used to form a cutting line corresponding to the artificial eyelashes on a plastic film of a certain thickness (step S100). At this time, the cutting line is formed so that the width of the cutting line is 0.1 mm to 0.2 mm.

[0021] The plastic film is a sheet-type material made by mixing terephthalic acid, dicarboxylic acid, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, flame retardant, hydrolyzing agent and antioxidant.

[0022] In this case, the composition ratio of each constituent material is 50 to 70% by weight of terephthalic acid, 5 to 30% by weight of ethylene glycol, 5 to 10% by weight of propylene glycol, 3 to 10% by weight of hydrolyzing agent, 2 to 5% by weight of dicarboxylic acid, 0.5 to 1% by weight of antioxidant, and 0.1 to 3% by weight of flame retardant.

[0023] According to the composition ratio of the present invention, the specific gravity of terephthalic acid is reduced and the specific gravity of ethylene glycol and propylene glycol is increased compared to the conventional composition, and the composition ratio of the antioxidant is minimized by more than two times compared to the conventional composition, which makes it easier for a laser cutter to crack or scratch a plastic film.

[0024] In addition, the plastic film having the composition ratio according to the present invention induces more effective corrosion in a cutting solution described below than general plastic films, thereby enabling the tip of the artificial eyelash to have a sharp shape.

[0025] Furthermore, in the case of artificial eyelashes manufactured using a plastic film according to the composition ratio of the present invention, the rate of oxidation by ultraviolet rays is significantly delayed despite the fact that the composition ratio of the antioxidant is minimized.

[0026] The equipment used to form cutting lines on plastic films is a laser cutting machine or laser marking machine, and these types of laser cutting machines use fiber, CO2, or UV lasers.

[0027] FIG. 2 is a reference diagram showing an actual cutting line formed on a plastic film using a laser cutting machine, and FIG. 3 is an enlarged perspective view of the cutting line formed on the plastic film by the laser cutting machine.

[0028] The appropriate thickness of the plastic film is 0.05 to 0.1 mm, and to prevent deformation of the product when cutting the plastic film with a laser, a remover (adhesive strength of 10 to 500 g is appropriate) can be attached (as an interleaf) to the plastic film before cutting.

[0029] The minimum cutting size (thickness of eyelash hair) for laser cutting can be as small as 0.1mm. The advantage of laser cutting is that it can accurately cut according to the shape drawn on the design drawing (created using AutoCAD or illustrations), but there is a risk that the material (plastic film) will burn if the eyelash thickness is less than 0.1mm due to the heat generated during laser cutting. For this reason, it is almost impossible to cut eyelashes less than 0.1mm thick in the first cutting using a laser cutting machine.

[0030] In other words, cutting ultra-thin plastic films with a thickness of 0.05 to 0.1 mm is only possible if the laser speed is fast (800 to 1500 mm / s) and the cutting process is repeated several times. If the speed is slow or the laser power is too high, the plastic film will burn and become unusable as a product. Also, if the laser cutting process is repeated several times, equipment errors will occur, and if the thickness of the film is less than 0.1 mm, there is a risk that the material (plastic film) will burn due to the heat energy generated when the laser beam passes through during cutting. Therefore, cutting a thickness of less than 0.1 mm in one cut is almost impossible.

[0031] Therefore, the thickness of currently produced artificial eyelashes varies from 0.03 to 0.2 mm, but the thickness of products (eyelashes) produced using only laser cutting is 0.1 to 0.2 mm, which is only possible for about 10 to 20% of all products, and there is a production limit depending on the laser equipment.

[0032] In addition, since more than 90% of eyelashes have narrower (pointed) ends, there are limitations to the size of eyelashes that can be produced using laser cutting alone. Therefore, as in the present invention, a fine cutting process is performed using the desired product width and laser beam size.

[0033] The appropriate width of the laser beam is 0.1 to 0.005 mm, and the laser characteristic allows it to pass precisely at the designed position, but it does not cut if it passes only once, forming a cutting line. As a result, a cutting line corresponding to a crack or scratch is formed in the area where the laser beam passes.

[0034] After step S100, the plastic film with the cutting lines formed thereon is placed in a cutting solution contained in a cutting container to form artificial eyelashes (step S200). At this time, the cutting solution is any one of a sodium hydroxide solution, a calcium hydroxide solution, and a potassium hydroxide solution.

[0035] The cutting container is a case that contains the cutting solution.

[0036] FIG. 4 is a reference diagram illustrating a cutting container.

[0037] 4, the cutting container is in the form of a rectangular parallelepiped case (C) with an open top, but this is merely an example and can be modified into an integrated form capable of containing the cutting solution. The cutting container also has two or more support rods (P) on which the plastic film can be placed, arranged in parallel horizontally inside the cutting container. These support rods (P) can be configured to be detachable from the cutting container.

[0038] The plastic film has through holes (H) formed therein to be inserted into the support rods (P), and is inserted into the support rods through the through holes and then placed in the cutting vessel.

[0039] 5A is inserted into the support rod of the cutting vessel shown in FIG. 4, and when the product is manufactured, the cut semi-finished product is stacked in multiple layers to form the shape of the product.

[0040] These through holes (H) function as guides when stacking, allowing non-skilled workers to naturally align the parts using the support rods (P) regardless of their understanding of the product. Therefore, the through holes (H) are used as a basic alignment standard from the product design stage.

[0041] 5A is a reference diagram illustrating a through hole (H) formed in a plastic film, and FIG. 5B is a reference diagram showing a state in which a support rod of a cutting container is inserted into the through hole (H) formed in the plastic film.

[0042] In the step of forming the artificial eyelashes, the tip of the plastic film corresponding to the tip of the artificial eyelash is submerged in the cutting solution for a relatively longer period of time, thereby forming the tip of the artificial eyelashes sharply.

[0043] FIG. 6 is a reference diagram showing the optimum concentration, temperature and precipitation time of the cutting solution for precipitating the plastic film.

[0044] Referring to Figure 6, the optimum concentration of the cutting solution for forming the artificial eyelashes is 25% to 40%. The optimum temperature of the cutting solution for forming the artificial eyelashes is 70°C to 90°C. The settling time of the cutting solution on the plastic film for forming the artificial eyelashes is 5 hours to 40 hours.

[0045] After placing the plastic film on a support rod for settling in the cutting solution, the cutting solution is settling in the cutting container, and then the height of the cutting solution is adjusted. The height can be adjusted by allowing the cutting solution to drain naturally or by moving the position of the support rod upward in the cutting container to adjust the settling time of the plastic film. This allows for a time difference in the polishing with the cutting solution, so that the base portion of the product is polished for a shorter time and the pointed portion is polished for a longer time, thereby forming a sharp shape. After the polishing process, the product is cleaned to form the final product.

[0046] When the part with the cutting line is precipitated in a strong alkaline cutting solution with a concentration of 25% to 40% at a temperature of about 80°C for 20 minutes, the cutting line (crack or scratch) formed by the laser beam of the laser cutter is first corroded and then cut into the shape of the cutting line.

[0047] The artificial eyelashes are then precipitated in a cutting solution to form a sharp tip. The concentration and temperature of the cutting solution and the precipitation time of the plastic film can be set to a concentration of 25-40%, a temperature of 80°C, and a time of 5 to 40 hours, taking into account the productivity and the possibility of product defects based on the results of experiments on the degree of oxidation of the product.

[0048] The reason for the delicate finishing of artificial eyelashes is that if the ends of the eyelashes are sharp, they look more natural to the consumer after application and also look neat when looking at the product alone. Therefore, a process is required in which the plastic film with cutting lines is immersed in cutting solution to sharpen the tips.

[0049] Figure 7 is a reference diagram comparing the threads used in artificial eyelashes formed by immersing in a cutting solution with those used in real eyelashes, magnified 250 times. Referring to Figure 7, it can be seen that while conventional eyelashes have a sharp tip but are not of uniform length, the artificial eyelashes made according to the present invention have a sharp tip but are uniform in length from the base to the tip.

[0050] The technical concept of the biosorbent manufacturing apparatus of the present invention has been described above with reference to the accompanying drawings. However, this is merely an illustrative description of the best embodiment of the present invention and is not intended to limit the present invention.

[0051] Therefore, the present invention is not limited to the specific preferred embodiments described above, and it goes without saying that anyone skilled in the art can make various modifications without departing from the spirit of the present invention as claimed in the claims, and such modifications are within the scope of the claims. [Industrial Applicability]

[0052] The present invention is used in the field of producing artificial eyelashes.
