Abstract
Claims
1. A sensitivity test apparatus for testing the sensitivity of a smoke detector, comprising: a smoke supply unit having an internal space into which smoke generated by a smoke generating device is introduced; a tester body having a test space into which smoke flows from the smoke supply unit and on which mounting plates are provided for the detachable installation of one or more smoke detectors to be tested; and a control device for determining the sensitivity of the smoke detector, The aforementioned test space is divided into multiple test chambers by the aforementioned mounting plate. Each of the aforementioned test chambers is equipped with a smoke concentration detection means. Each of the aforementioned test chambers is connected to the internal space of the smoke supply unit through an opening formed in the wall of the smoke supply unit, and the mounting plate is configured to be insertable and removable in a direction parallel to the sensor mounting surface of the mounting plate. The control device is characterized by determining the sensitivity of a smoke detector installed on the mounting plate based on a signal from the smoke concentration detection means.
2. Multiple tester bodies are connected together, and the smoke supply unit is configured to have a length corresponding to the multiple tester bodies. 3. Each of the openings in the smoke supply unit is provided with a smoke inflow rate adjustment means. The sensitivity testing apparatus according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the control device is configured to control the smoke inflow adjustment means based on a signal from the smoke concentration detection means to adjust the corresponding smoke concentration in the test chamber.

The mounting plate is equipped with a terminal portion to which the other end of a wire, one end of which is connected to the terminal of a smoke detector installed on the mounting plate, is connected. The wall of the smoke supply unit is provided with a plurality of connection points into which the terminal portion of the smoke detector can be inserted and removed. The sensitivity test apparatus according to claim 3, characterized in that the control device can determine whether the terminal portion of the smoke detector is connected to each of the plurality of connection portions, and if the terminal portion is not connected to the connection portion, the opening is closed by the smoke inflow rate adjustment means corresponding to the test chamber.
