Abstract

To provide a flavoring agent.SOLUTION: There are provided: a flavoring agent comprising, as an active ingredient, one or two selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidin-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidin-2-yl)propanol; a consumer product additive composition comprising the flavoring agent; and a method for producing a consumer product, the method comprising incorporating one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidin-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidin-2-yl)propanol at a concentration of 1 ppt to 100 ppm relative to the total mass of the consumer product.SELECTED DRAWING: None

Claims

1. A flavoring agent comprising one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol.

2. A composition for use as an additive in consumer goods, comprising the flavoring agent described in claim 1.

3. A composition for additives to consumer goods comprising one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol.

4. The consumer goods additive composition according to claim 3, wherein one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol are added to the consumer goods at a concentration of 1 ppt to 100 ppm relative to the total mass of the consumer goods.

5. A method for flavoring consumer goods, comprising adding one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol, the flavoring agent described in claim 1, or the consumer goods additive composition described in claim 2 or 3 to consumer goods.

A method for producing consumer goods, comprising adding to consumer goods one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol, the flavoring agent described in claim 1, or the consumer goods additive composition described in claim 2 or 3.

7. A consumer product comprising one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol.

8. A consumer good according to claim 7, wherein the concentration of one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol is 1 ppt to 100 ppm with respect to the total mass of the consumer good.

9. A method for imparting flavor to consumer goods according to claim 5, wherein one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol are added at a concentration of 1 ppt to 100 ppm relative to the total mass of the consumer goods.

10. A method for producing consumer goods according to claim 6, wherein one or two compounds selected from the group consisting of 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)ethanol and 1-(pyrrolidine-2-yl)propanol are added at a concentration of 1 ppt to 100 ppm relative to the total mass of the consumer goods.
