Abstract

A system and method for operating a user device with a personalized identification module profile is proposed. The present invention relates to a system 100 for operating a user device 110 with a personalized identification module profile, which is automatically downloaded in a secure manner from a subscription manager 130 to the user device 110 once a user 120 of the user device 110 is identified. The system 100 particularly comprises a service system 140 for identifying a user corresponding to a derived user ID, and a subscription manager 130 for preparing a personalized identification module profile requested by the service system 140 and transmitting the prepared personalized identification module profile to the user device 110.
