Abstract

To more surely perform binding of sheets in comparison to a case where binding processing of the sheets is performed by considering only one of a binding amount of the sheets and a water content included in the sheets.SOLUTION: A CPU performs control of at least one of a binding processing unit 52 and a water content adjustment mechanism 700 such that a ratio of the volume of a water content included in a bound portion falls within a specific range. More concretely, the CPU performs control of at least one of the binding processing unit 52 and the water content adjustment mechanism 700 such that the ratio of the volume of the water content included in the bound portion to the volume of the bound portion of sheets after being applied with binding processing falls within the specific range.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
