Abstract
To suppress the occurrence of damage to a sheet in comparison to a case where driving speeds of a plurality of conveyance roll pairs are uniformly controlled regardless of a tip position of the sheet.SOLUTION: A sheet conveyance device comprises: a plurality of conveyance roll pairs which are arranged in a bent conveyance path of a sheet; a plurality of drive sources which drive the plurality of conveyance roll pairs; a plurality of pieces of load detection means which detect loads of the plurality of drive sources; and control means which controls the driving speed of at least one of the plurality of drive sources such that detection results from the load detection means fall within a predetermined range according to a tip position of the sheet.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
