Abstract

To obtain a luminaire and an illumination system that easily secure a space inside the luminaire.SOLUTION: A luminaire according to the present disclosure comprises: a supporting member; a light source provided on a first surface of the supporting member; a lighting device provided on a second surface on the side opposite to the first surface of the supporting member, and lighting the light source; and a communication unit comprising a communication board on which a communication control part for converting a command received from the outside, into a control signal for controlling the lighting device, and transmitting it to the lighting device is arranged, and provided on the second surface of the supporting member.
