AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

Existing centrifugal cutting oil purification devices face issues with rapid reduction in purification efficiency due to pressure drops and chip accumulation, leading to inefficient reuse of cutting oil and increased manufacturing costs.

Method used

The device incorporates a settling unit with guide plates inclined at angles, forming a zigzag pattern to prevent pressure drops and a spiral groove to maintain centrifugal force, along with multiple lower housings for enhanced separation and a downward-inclined injection nozzle to ensure continuous oil flow.

Benefits of technology

This configuration minimizes pressure drops, maintains purification efficiency, and prevents interference with oil injection, thereby improving the continuous purification process and reducing manufacturing complexity and costs.

Abstract

PURPOSE: A centrifugal type cutting oil purification apparatus is provided to minimize reduction of purification efficiency of a purification part by preventing rapid pressure decrease in a precipitation part.CONSTITUTION: A centrifugal type cutting oil purification apparatus comprises an upper housing(10), a discharge nozzle(40), an injection nozzle(30), a lower housing(20), and a precipitation part(50). The upper housing has an inner space with open lower part. The discharge nozzle is connected to the inner space of the upper housing. The injection nozzle is on one side of the upper housing. The lower housing comprises a fluid path. The diameter of the flow path becomes narrower downwards. The upper part of the flow path is connected to the upper housing. The precipitation part is connected to the lower part of a lower housing to temporarily store a separated chip.
