A Grip Strength Ball for Rehabilitation of Hemodialysis Patients

Abstract

This invention discloses a grip strength ball for rehabilitation of hemodialysis patients, belonging to the field of medical device technology. It aims to solve the technical problem that existing grip strength balls, which only allow for a single gripping motion, easily increase fatigue in the patient's palm and make it difficult to exercise the fingers. The invention includes an upper hemisphere and a lower hemisphere, connected by a fist-rebounding component. A finger pressing component is arranged on the top of the upper hemisphere, and a telescopic adjustment component is arranged inside the lower hemisphere. The upper and lower hemispheres are adjusted and controlled by the telescopic adjustment component, allowing for both a close proximity state and a separated state. This invention has the advantages of allowing patients to exercise with a hollow fist, sensing the force of the fist grip by applying pressure to the grip strength ball to assess the degree of rehabilitation, and simultaneously facilitating finger flexibility exercises, thus meeting the needs of two types of rehabilitation exercises.
