Abstract

The present invention provides a method and apparatus for monitoring shaft runout in wind turbine generators based on laser ranging. The method comprises: acquiring first measurement data and second measurement data collected respectively by a first laser ranging module and a second laser ranging module; correcting the first measurement data and second measurement data based on the rotational cycle of the rotor lock disc to obtain first corrected data and second corrected data; calculating the data difference between the first corrected data and the second corrected data; and determining the shaft runout result based on the data difference, precisely identifying the type and direction of shaft runout. This achieves high-precision, real-time shaft runout monitoring, effectively enhancing the reliability and robustness of the monitoring system, reducing the likelihood of misjudgements and missed detections, and ensuring the safe operation of wind turbine generators.
