STAIR FOOTING AND STAIR FOOTING ASSEMBLIES AND STAIRS CONTAINING THEM

Abstract

A stair footing, as described herein, includes a top side and a bottom side. The bottom side defines the tread and includes a front side, a back side, an inner side, and an outer side. The bottom side of the footing is curved, defining a first curve from the inner side to the outer side and a second curve from the front side to the back side. Another stair footing, provided herein, includes a flange that extends upward to engage with a stair leg cover component. Stair leg assemblies and stair sets with the footings are also described.
