Abstract
The invention relates to a Tripteron-type parallel manipulator configured to provide three purely translational degrees of freedom by means of three orthogonal linear actuators and their respective parallelogram-shaped kinematic chains. The system incorporates an auxiliary active support arranged on the Z-axis, intended to apply an upward vertical force to the moving platform (11) in order to reduce the load borne by the kinematic chain and the main Z-axis actuator. This support can be implemented using electric or pneumatic actuators, elastic elements, or cable-driven mechanisms, allowing for active, passive, or semi-active operating modes.The integration of the auxiliary support increases the manipulator's load capacity, improves its dynamic stability, and reduces the mechanical demands on the vertical actuator, while maintaining the purely translational kinematics and structural characteristics of the original Tripteron unchanged.
