Abstract

This cartridge, which can be installed in a printer, is provided with a coupling guide that comes into contact with a coupling and guides a coupling member. A cartridge case has a hole for exposing a free end of the coupling to the outside of the cartridge, and a retracting part disposed downstream from the hold in the installation direction of the cartridge. When installing the cartridge in an apparatus body, the coupling guide enters the retracting part into which the coupling member has retracted.
