Abstract
The subject of the application is a system for peri-orthodontic expansion of the alveolar process and bone regeneration and a mini-implant for attaching an orthodontic arch for use in peri-orthodontic expansion of the alveolar process and bone regeneration. The system is characterized in that it contains at least two orthodontic mini-implants and an orthodontic arch, and each mini-implant has an abutment (1) with conical or cylindrical threading, a polygonal neck (2), preferably hexagonal, an ending in the form of a rounded head (4) in the longitudinal cross-section in the shape of a mushroom with a narrowed shank (4T) round in the longitudinal cross-section, wherein in the neck (2) there are at least two through holes for attaching an orthodontic arch or in the form of a hook in the shape of a semicircle in the shape of the letter C, terminated at the top and bottom with two hook fasteners, one of which adheres to the neck (2) creating a place of connection with the arch, and preferably in the neck there is at least one hole for fastening various types of orthodontic elements or in the form of a lock in the form of open pliers ending with blades in the form of jaws, and in the front between the jaws there is a notch across the entire width of the pliers for inserting the orthodontic arch, and preferably between the neck and the arch there is a narrowing constituting a shaft with a rounded cross-section, wherein the mini-implant is connected to the orthodontic arch directly by means of an ending in the form of a lock or hook or in the case of a rounded head by means of two holes made in the neck (2), and furthermore in the case of connection by means of an incision in the jaws in the ending in the form of a lock, the connection is stabilized by connecting with a known means for stabilizing the attachment of the head to the arch, preferably a ligature.
