BACKGROUND
[0001] The organizing of personal jewelry, especially hanging type jewelry is a constant struggle for most people. While many products are available that store or display jewelry, the need for new and creative products will only increase as more and more people obtain and need to store their jewelry in a fashionable and accessible way.THE PROBLEM AND RELATED PRIOR ACTS
[0002] The type of jewelry that this invention is designed for is the hanging jewelry that attaches to a persons body part with an open hook. These types of jewelry hang down from the hook typically from ½-inch to 6 inches or more. The hanging jewelry becomes tangled and twisted and difficult to access when placed in a jewelry box. Numerous prior acts have attempted to solve the problems related to storage and display of jewelry, however, no device has been designed with the flexibility of décor, a see-through mesh screen, shadow box and mirror incorporated into a single wall hanging unit. [0008]The invention is intended for wall mounting at eye level of the user, although it can be placed on a horizontal surface like a dresser or vanity with the addition of an easel or similar device. It is an integrated design with function first as jewelry storage and display, second as design as a variety of decorative frames can change the appearance but not the function or features of the invention and lastly as a combination design and function with the mirror feature providing for the attractive reflection and an instant sample viewing while the user is wearing the jewelry.
