[0002] The present invention generally relates to wearable exercise garments and personal resistance training systems. More specifically, the present invention relates to a multifunctional, body-worn resistance garment configured to deliver targeted, adjustable resistance to multiple muscle groups during physical activity. The invention comprises a stretchable, form-fitting vest constructed from durable, skin-compatible fabric, designed to conform to the user's torso. The vest integrates multiple weight pockets for customizable loading and includes strategically positioned attachment members for securing elastic resistance tubing. A releasable helmet component with modular weight inserts and neck-targeting connectors delivers dynamic cervical resistance. Ankle harnesses and integrated foot stabilizers serve as anchor points for lower-body resistance, enabling upward, downward, and diagonal tension across the limbs. While the segmented approach can be effective, it is time-consuming and lacks efficiency.

Furthermore, there is a need for an exercise garment that integrates customizable resistance and weight distribution. Additionally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a modular resistance training apparatus that can be worn comfortably during various dynamic activities including running, lifting, walking, and bodyweight exercises. Finally, there is a long-felt need in the art for a wearable system that provides full-body muscular engagement while enabling users to maintain natural movement patterns without external gym equipment.

[0006] The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment, comprises a multifunctional exercise resistance garment system. The system includes a stretchable, durable vest body configured to fit snugly over the user's torso and incorporating a plurality of anterior and posterior weight pockets for receiving removable weight inserts. The vest body also includes integrated reinforced straps and multiple attachment members positioned along the torso for securing elastic resistance members. A helmet component is releasably coupled to the vest body using adjustable elastic tubing and includes weight pockets and a padded interior to safely deliver cervical and upper trapezius resistance. Tubing connectors located on the helmet enable resistance to be routed downward toward the vest, enhancing neck muscle engagement during movement.

Claims

1. An exercise resistance garment system comprising:a wearable workout garment having a vest body, a pair of ankle harnesses, and a plurality of elastic resistance members;wherein said vest body having a plurality of attachment members and a first plurality of weight pockets;wherein said vest body having a stretchable fabric;wherein said vest body dimensioned for a wearer's torso; andfurther wherein said first plurality of weight pockets selectively receives a first plurality of removable weights.

2. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 1, wherein each attachment member of said plurality of attachment members secures at least one elastic resistance member of said plurality of elastic resistance members.

3. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 2, wherein said vest body having a shoulder portion with a first reinforced strap and a waist region with a second reinforced strap for maintaining structural integrity of said vest body.

4. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 2 further comprising a helmet releasably coupled to said vest body with at least two adjustable elastic resistance members of said plurality of elastic resistance members.

5. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 4, wherein said helmet having a second plurality of weight pockets to selectively receive a second plurality of removable weights.

6. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 5, wherein one of said plurality of elastic resistance members extending from a lower side of said helmet to one of said pair of ankle harnesses for exerting downward tension on the cervical muscles.

7. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 6, wherein another one of said plurality of elastic resistance members extending from said lower side of said helmet to another of said pair of ankle harnesses for exerting downward tension on the cervical muscles.

8. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 7, wherein each one of said pair of ankle harnesses is a padded band adapted to wrap around an ankle of a user's lower leg.

9. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 8, wherein each one of said pair of ankle harnesses having at least one tubing connector for connecting at least one of said plurality of elastic resistance members.

10. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 9, wherein each one of said pair of ankle harnesses having a plurality of removable weight pockets disposed circumferentially around a respective each one of said pair of ankle harnesses for selectively receiving a third plurality of removable weights.

11. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 10 further comprising a pair of foot stabilizers connected respectively with said pair of ankle harnesses and acting as anchoring platforms for distributing ground reaction forces and stabilizing tension from said plurality of elastic resistance members when the user performs exercise.

12. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 11, wherein said plurality of weight pockets distributed on an anterior surface of said vest body and on a posterior surface of said vest body.

An exercise resistance garment system comprising:a wearable workout garment having a vest body, a pair of ankle harnesses, a helmet, and a plurality of elastic resistance members;wherein said vest body having a plurality of attachment members and a first plurality of weight pockets;wherein said vest body having a stretchable fabric;wherein said vest body dimensioned for a wearer's torso; andfurther wherein said first plurality of weight pockets selectively receives a first plurality of removable weights.

14. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 13, wherein each attachment member of said plurality of attachment members secures at least one elastic resistance member of said plurality of elastic resistance members.

15. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 13, wherein said vest body having a shoulder portion with a first reinforced strap and a waist region with a second reinforced strap for maintaining structural integrity of said vest body.

16. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 13, wherein said helmet releasably coupled to said vest body with at least two adjustable elastic resistance members of said plurality of elastic resistance members.

17. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 13, wherein said helmet having a second plurality of weight pockets to selectively receive a second plurality of removable weights.

18. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 13, wherein one of said plurality of elastic resistance members extending from a lower side of said helmet to one of said pair of ankle harnesses for exerting downward tension on the cervical muscles.

19. The exercise resistance garment system of claim 18, wherein another one of said plurality of elastic resistance members extending from said lower side of said helmet to another of said pair of ankle harnesses for exerting downward tension on the cervical muscles.

20. An exercise resistance garment system comprising:a wearable workout garment having a vest body, a pair of ankle harnesses, a helmet, and a plurality of elastic resistance members;wherein said vest body having a plurality of attachment members and a first plurality of weight pockets;wherein said vest body dimensioned for a wearer's torso;wherein said first plurality of weight pockets selectively receives a first plurality of removable weights;wherein said plurality of elastic resistance members extending between said helmet and said vest body exert downward resistance from said helmet to said vest body to engage neck musculature;wherein said plurality of elastic resistance members extending between said pair of ankle harnesses and said vest body exert upward and diagonal resistance from said pair of ankle harnesses to said vest body to engage quadriceps and hip flexors; andfurther wherein said plurality of elastic members extending between said pair of ankle harnesses and a back of said vest body exert posterior and upward resistance from said pair of ankle harnesses to said back of said vest body to engage hamstrings and gluteal muscles.
