Abstract
Description
[0001] DESCRIPTIVE MEMORY
[0002] Technical problem
[0003] The technical problem that the present invention solves relates to the difficulty of assembling cardboard furniture for the display of products for sale, in sales locations.
[0004] This problem is also associated with the area of environmental care, where the use of cardboard is beneficial, as it is a biodegradable material in the short term, which is convenient compared to recyclable and non-recyclable materials such as wood, plastic and metal, since recycling costs are comparatively very high when the production cost of furniture is sought to be very low, often economically preventing used and disposed of furniture from being adequately treated for environmental sustainability.
[0005] There are many technological solutions that have been disseminated that partially solve the problem, but most of them have not been able to adequately create a sufficiently strong and rigid structure without the use of metal or plastic elements to fasten or secure parts of the furniture, which poses an environmental problem in its final disposal.
[0006] On other occasions, the few technological solutions that have achieved structural objectives lack these plastic or metal parts. They require a complex assembly process at the site of use, which requires the intervention of qualified personnel. Furthermore, these technologies do not allow for simple and rapid deployment of the furniture.
[0007] Faced with the needs related to the different facets of this technical problem, it is necessary to achieve a cardboard furniture technology for the display of products for sale, in points of sale, in which the same can be obtained at least in its most substantial part by unfolding, without the need for parts of other materials such as wood, plastic or metal, while at the same time achieving high structural strength and rigidity.

[0028] Detailed description of the invention
[0029] The present invention consists of cardboard furniture for the display of products for sale, in sales locations, which are composed of folding structures composed of structural profiles and product-containing trays, with a series of variants.
[0030] Firstly, a tray containing articles is disclosed, quick to assemble, manufactured from the folding and cutting of a sheet of semi-rigid and foldable material, of high rigidity against bending, compression and torsion, which comprises a central horizontal rectangular surface (15) and an outer contour formed by 4 vertical walls (16) that project upwards from it, which are located at its 4 corners, where: a) two first opposite vertical walls (17) correspond to solid sides, formed from the successive folding of a first sheet, in the shape of a "U", made next to the central horizontal rectangular surface (15), where an initial fold (18) is made at a right angle and in a vertical direction and upwards and where a next fold (19) is made at an angle of 180 ° in the same direction;(b) two second opposite vertical walls (20) correspond to hollow profiles with a rectangular cross-section, formed from the successive fold of the first sheet, where the profile has 5 rectangular portions separated from each other by parallel folds, where a first portion of the tray profile (21) is a continuation of the central horizontal rectangular surface (15); a second portion of the tray profile (22) is vertically ascending, folded in a first direction and at a right angle; a third portion of the tray profile (23) is horizontal, folded in the first direction and at a right angle; a fourth portion of the tray profile (24) is vertically descending, folded in a first direction and at a right angle;a fifth portion of the tray profile (24') is diagonally ascending, folded in a first direction and at an angle greater than right angle, ending in internal contact with the fold between the third and fourth portion of the tray profile (23, 24);
[0031] The first two opposite vertical walls (17) of the tray may have a cross-section coinciding with a fold line on the central horizontal rectangular surface, which allows the article-containing tray to be folded like a hinge, allowing it to be packed in a length shorter than its total length, as well as to be introduced through small spaces and then unfolded.
[0032] A first inner sheet (25), made of semi-rigid and foldable material, with a width similar to the inner distance between the two first opposite vertical walls (17) and a length similar to the sum of the distance between the two second opposite vertical walls (20) and twice the width of the first portion of the tray profile (21), with a total cut in the shape of an “S” in the direction of its width, can be positioned on the central horizontal rectangular surface (15), with a virtual straight line centered on the cut coinciding with the fold line on the central horizontal rectangular surface (15), giving the article-containing tray greater rigidity and resistance to the weight of the articles to be supported.
[0033] A second inner sheet (26), made of rigid or semi-rigid material, with a width similar to the inner distance between the two first opposite vertical walls (17) and a length similar to the distance between the two second opposite vertical walls (20), can be positioned on the first inner sheet (25), giving the article-containing tray even greater rigidity and resistance to the weight of the articles to be supported.
[0034] Next, a piece of furniture containing articles is disclosed, of quick assembly, of parallelepiped exterior shape, manufactured from the folding, cutting and assembly of a sheet of semi-rigid and foldable material, which comprises a deployable frame structure (27), formed by four pillars of tubular structural profiles (28) and article-containing trays arranged on several levels, which has three preferred execution modes, where: a) the deployable frame structure (27) is formed by two opposite frame bodies (29) and two opposite frame frames (30), of rectangular contour, arranged vertically and pre-assembled together by their vertical edges, where the opposite frame frames (30) are located towards the interior of the deployable frame structure (27) and the opposite frame bodies (29) are located towards the outside.b) the opposite frame bodies (29) and the opposite frame frames (30) comprise rectangular openings centered on their widths, at different heights, separated from each other, where the heights of the rectangular openings of the opposite frame bodies and of the opposite frame frames (30) are equivalent, as well as the separation distances thereof. c) the opposite frame bodies (29) and the opposite frame frames (30) comprise a lateral vertical fold line on each side, along the entire height thereof, at a uniform distance from their outer edge in all of them, where from these vertical fold lines project first corner wings (31), which are folded at right angles.d) in the opposite frame bodies (29) and the opposite frame frames (30), the distances between the rectangular openings and the vertical fold lines are of uniform widths, where, in addition, these portions of material between the rectangular openings and the vertical fold lines constitute second angle wings (32). e) in the opposite frame bodies (29), from the first angle wings.
[0035] (31) and from the second angle wings (32), two first and two second additional portions of material are projected in each case, separated from each other by folding lines and separated from the first angle wings also by folding lines, where in addition these two first and two second additional portions have interruptions coinciding with the vertical separations between the vertical openings, and where there are also horizontal cuts of these first and second additional portions of material, corresponding to each vertical opening. f) the opposite frame frames (30) have at least three centered and symmetrical vertical folding lines, along their entire height, on each of the portions of material between vertical openings, which allows the collapse and deployment of the deployable frame structure quickly at the point of sale.g) the deployable frame structure (27) is pre-assembled by matching the first angle wings (31) and the second angle wings.
[0036] (32) of each opposite frame frame (30) with each opposite frame body (29) at each corner of the structure, where the coincidence between their vertical folding lines also occurs and where additionally the two first and two second additional portions, of each side of each opposite frame body (29) are folded embracing each corresponding side of each opposite frame frame (30).h) each first and second portion of additional material of each opposite frame body (29), together with each first and second angle wing (31, 32) thereof are translated into 6 portions of a folded sheet, separated from each other by parallel folds, wherein two central portions correspond to two first exterior sections (1 and 2), separated by a first fold (10), followed towards the ends by two second exterior sections (3 and 4), separated from the first exterior sections by two second folds (11 and 12), and then symmetrically two interior diagonal sections (5 and 6), separated from the second exterior sections (3 and 4) by two third folds (13 and 14).
