[0149] FIG. 17 shows an example of a schematic diagram of a wireless communication node according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.

[0150] FIGs. 18 to 19 show flowcharts of wireless communication methods according to some embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0151] Some embodiments of the present disclosure may provide a method for scheduling uplink data quickly to handle some traffic with stringent latency. FIG. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a scheduling procedure according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In FIG. 1, an uplink dynamic grant timeline is shown. The user equipment (UE) may transmit the physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) to the base station (BS) after transmitting the scheduling request (SR) and the buffer status report (BSR) .

[0152] In some embodiments of the present disclosure, a method is provided. In some embodiments, the method includes: transmitting, by a wireless communication terminal (e.g., a UE) to a wireless communication node (e.g., a BS) , a first signaling via a first resource.

[0153] In some embodiments, the first signaling is associated with at least one of: information of a data volume of an uplink transmission (e.g., the uplink packet (s) ) , information for monitoring a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) or information for an uplink scheduling.

[0154] With the data volume of the uplink transmission in the first signaling, the wireless communication node can schedule the uplink resource for the uplink transmission with reduced scheduling delay based on the first signaling.

[0155] With the information for monitoring the PDCCH, the wireless communication terminal is capable of monitoring PDCCH in a reduced times so that the power consumption for PDCCH monitoring can be saved, resulting in high energy efficiency.

[0156] With the information for an uplink transmission, the wireless communication node can fully perceive a plurality of information for uplink traffic and scheduling with efficiency.

[0157] In some embodiments, when the first signaling is transmitted in uplink control information, UCI, the delay before scheduling can be significantly reduced compared to the delay by transmitting the SR and BSR

[0158] In some embodiments, the first resource comprises one or more uplink channels. In some embodiments, the one or more uplink channels comprise one or more physical uplink control channels (PUCCHs) or one or more physical uplink shared channels (PUSCH) .

[0159] Some aspects of the present disclosure are provided below to allow fast uplink dynamic scheduling, but the present disclosure is not limited thereto. Besides, embodiments in different aspects described below can be combined unless expressly stated otherwise. Said aspects include, but not limit to, the following:

[0160] (1) the interpretation of a first signaling;

[0161] (2) the content of a first signaling; and / or

[0162] (3) the first resource of a first signaling.

[0163] Aspect 1:

[0164] The interpretation of a first signaling

[0165] In some embodiments, the first signaling includes at least one of the following:

[0166] a high layer parameter (e.g., radio resource control, RRC, parameter) ;

[0167] a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) ; and / or

[0168] an uplink control information (UCI) .

[0169] In some embodiments, the UCI includes a UCI for reporting data volume of the uplink packet (s) .

[0170] In some embodiments, the UCI includes a UCI for reporting transport block size.

[0171] In some embodiments, the UCI includes a scheduling request.

[0172] In some embodiments, the UCI includes an unused transmission occasion, uplink control information (UTO-UCI) .

[0173] In some embodiments, the UCI includes a dedicated UCI. In some cases, the UCI is used for reporting a data volume of an uplink transmission. In some cases, the UCI is used for reporting an information for monitoring a PDCCH. In some cases, the UCI is used for reporting an information for an uplink scheduling. In some cases, the UCI is used to reporting a data volume of an uplink transmission and an information for monitoring a PDCCH. In some cases, the UCI is used to reporting a data volume of an uplink transmission and an information for an uplink scheduling. In some cases, the UCI is used to reporting an information for monitoring a PDCCH and an information for an uplink scheduling. In some cases, the UCI is used to reporting a data volume of an uplink transmission, an information for monitoring a PDCCH and an information for an uplink scheduling. In some cases, the UCI is configured by offset information through high  layer parameter. For one example, the offset information is a beta offset. For another example, the offset information is an alpha offset.

[0174] Aspect 2:

[0175] The Content of a First Signaling

[0176] In some embodiments, the first signaling is associated with the data volume of the uplink transmission.

[0177] In some embodiments, the information of the data volume of the uplink transmission comprises an information for a range of a buffer size level. Alternatively, the information for a range of a buffer size includes a minimum buffer size level. Alternatively, the information for a range of a buffer size includes a maximum buffer size level. Alternatively, the information for a range of a buffer size includes a minimum buffer size level and a maximum buffer size level.

[0178] In some embodiments, the range of a buffer size level is a subset of the range of a table for buffer size level. For example, the range of a table for buffer size level is [5000, 750000] . The range of a buffer size level is [6085, 35672] . In some cases, the range of a buffer size level is not a subset of the range of a table for buffer size level.

[0179] In some embodiments, the range of a buffer size level in the first signaling is determined by an index. In some cases, the correspondence between the index and range of a buffer size level is configured by a higher layer parameter. For example, the range of the buffer size level in the first signaling includes a minimum buffer size level and a maximum buffer size level. And there are 4 ranges of a buffer size level, which is shown in following table.

[0180] Alternatively, the first signaling includes 2 bits for representing the ranges, i.e., ‘00’ , ‘01’ , ‘10’ , ‘11’ . If the first signaling indicates ‘01’ , the wireless communication terminal reports the range of the buffer size level, ‘ [101, 200] ’ to the wireless communication node.

[0181] In some embodiments, the information for the range of the buffer size level is associated  with traffic characteristic information. In some cases, the traffic characteristic information comprises / is traffic type information. In some cases, each traffic type corresponds to one range of the buffer size level. In some cases, the correspondence is determined by a higher layer parameter. In some cases, when the traffic type is determined by the traffic characteristic information, the range of the buffer size level is determined. In some cases, the wireless communication terminal transmits packet (s) for a specific traffic, and the range of the buffer size level is determined.

[0182] In some embodiments, the information for the range of the buffer size level comprises a minimum level of the range of the buffer size level. In some cases, the range of the buffer size level is expressed by a minimum buffer size level of the range. In some embodiments, the information for the range of the buffer size level comprises a maximum level of the range of buffer size level. In some cases, the range of the buffer size level is expressed by a maximum buffer size level of the range. In some embodiments, the information for the range of the buffer size level comprises a minimum level of the range of the buffer size level and a maximum level of the range of the buffer size level. In some cases, the range of the buffer size level is expressed by a minimum buffer size level of the range and a maximum buffer size of the range.

[0183] In some embodiments, the information of the data volume of the uplink transmission comprises an information for a buffer size level. In some cases, the information for the buffer size level comprises an index for the buffer size level. In this case, the index is associated with a buffer size level in the table for the buffer size level. For example, the index and a buffer size level are determined by the table for the buffer size level, such as in FIG. 12, index 170 indicates the buffer size level not larger than 439827 Bytes. In this case, the first signaling includes 8 bits for reporting the buffer size level. If the data volume is 439827 Bytes, the first signaling indicates ‘10101010’ to represent the 439827 Bytes. Then the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling to the wireless communication node.

[0184] In some cases, the information for the buffer size level comprises an index for the buffer size level. In this case, the index is associated with a relationship of buffer size level. Alternatively, the relationship of buffer size level is associated with a minimum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level and the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels. In this case, the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (kx+B)

[0185] where Nbuffer denotes the reporting buffer size level, k denotes the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels, x denotes the index for buffer size level, and B denotes the minimum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level. And the function f () denotes the flooring, ceiling or rounding operation. In this case, x is an integer. In this case, the first signaling includes the value of x to represent Nbuffer which is larger and closest to the actual data volume. For example, the range of the buffer size level is [10, 80] Bytes, so that the minimum buffer size level is 10 Bytes. Assuming the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels is 10 Bytes, then the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (10x+10)

[0186] The first signaling includes 3 bits to indicate the index. If the data volume is 55 Bytes, the wireless communication terminal reports x = 6, i.e., ‘110’ in the first signaling to indicate the data volume is 60 Bytes.

[0187] Alternatively, the relationship of buffer size level is associated with a maximum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level and the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels. In this case, the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (-kx+B)

[0188] where Nbufferdenotes the reporting buffer size level, k denotes the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels, x denotes the index for buffer size level, and B denotes the maximum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level. And the function f () denotes the flooring, ceiling or rounding operation. In this case, x is an integer. In this case, the first signaling includes the value of x to represent Nbufferwhich is larger and closest to the actual data volume. For example, the range of the buffer size level is [10, 80] Bytes, so that the maximum buffer size level is 80 Bytes. Assuming the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels is 10 Bytes, then the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (-10x+80)

[0189] The first signaling includes 3 bits to indicate the index. If the data volume is 55 Bytes, the wireless communication terminal reports x = 6, i.e., ‘110’ in the first signaling to indicate the data volume is 60 Bytes.

[0190] Alternatively, the relationship of buffer size level is associated with a minimum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level and a ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels (e.g., a ratio of two adjacent buffer size levels) . In this case, the ratio is the former buffer size level dividing later buffer size level. In this case, the relationship is expressed by

[0191] where Nbufferdenotes the reporting buffer size level, r denotes the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels, x denotes the index for buffer size level, and B denotes the minimum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level. And the function f () denotes the flooring, ceiling or rounding operation. In this case, x is an integer. In this case, the first signaling includes the value of x to represent Nbufferwhich is larger and closest to the actual data volume. For example, the range of the buffer size level is [10, 1280] Bytes, so that the minimum buffer size level is 10 Bytes. Assuming the ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels is 0.5, then the relationship is expressed by

[0192] The first signaling includes 3 bits to indicate the index. If the data volume is 600 Bytes, the wireless communication terminal reports x = 6, i.e., ‘110’ in the first signaling to indicate the data volume is 640 Bytes. In this case, if the ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels is the later buffer size level dividing the former buffer size level, the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (Brx)

[0193] Alternatively, the relationship of buffer size level is associated with a maximum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level and a ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels. In this case, the ratio is the former buffer size level dividing later buffer size level. In this case, the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (Brx)

[0194] where Nbufferdenotes the reporting buffer size level, r denotes the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels, x denotes the index for buffer size level, and B denotes the maximum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level. And the function f () denotes the  flooring, ceiling or rounding operation. In this case, x is an integer. In this case, the first signaling includes the value of x to represent Nbufferwhich is larger and closest to the actual data volume. For example, the range of the buffer size level is [10, 1280] Bytes, so that the maximum buffer size level is 1280 Bytes. Assuming the ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels is 0.5, then the relationship is expressed by Nbuffer=f (1280×0.5x)

[0195] The first signaling includes 3 bits to indicate the index. If the data volume is 600 Bytes, the wireless communication terminal reports x = 6, i.e., ‘110’ in the first signaling to indicate the data volume is 640 Bytes. In this case, if the ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels is the later buffer size level dividing the former buffer size level, the relationship is expressed by

[0196] In some cases, the information for the buffer size level comprises a part of an index for the buffer size level. In some cases, the first signaling includes the K1 most significant bits of the index, where K1 is a positive integer. In some cases, the first signaling includes the K2 least significant bits of the index, where K2 is a positive integer. In some cases, the index is expressed by N bits in binary. In some cases, K1 is not larger than N. In some cases, K2 is not larger than N. In this case, the index is associated with the table for buffer size level or the relationship of the buffer size level, which is mentioned before.

[0197] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the UE transmits the UCI and BSR to the gNB without receiving DCI between the transmissions of the UCI and BSR. The index is expressed by 8 bits in binary. The UCI carries the first part (e.g., 4 MSB) of the index indicating the buffer size level, and the BSR carries the second part (e.g., 4 LSB (least significant bit) ) of the index the buffer size level

[0198] In some cases, the information for the buffer size level comprises an index of a coarse buffer size level corresponding to the buffer size level. In some cases, the first signaling includes the index for a predefined buffer size range, where the buffer size level is still smaller than the actual buffer size level for the traffic. Alternatively, the other signaling reports the index of the remaining buffer size level. Alternatively, the other signaling reports the index difference between the index of remaining buffer size and the index of the actual buffer size level for the traffic. In this case, the index is associated with the table for buffer size level or the relationship of the buffer size  level, which is mentioned before.

[0199] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the UE sequentially transmits the UCI to the gNB, receives the first DCI from the gNB, transmits the first PUSCH to the gNB, receives the second DCI from the BS, and transmits the second PUSCH to the gNB. For example, assuming the actual buffer size level for uplink traffic is 439827 Bytes, which is index 170 based on the table for buffer size level, the UCI indicates a coarse buffer size level, e.g., index 160, 234503 Bytes. The gNB schedules the first PUSCH based on the coarse buffer size level via the first DCI, to allow the UE to transmit a part of uplink data to the gNB via the first PUSCH. The first PUSCH also carries a padding BSR indicating the remaining buffer size level, e.g., index 10, representing there are 10 indexes gap between current buffer size level and actual buffer size level. Then, the gNB acknowledges the remaining buffer size level and schedules the second PUSCH based on the padding BSR via the second DCI, to allow the UE to transmit the remaining uplink data to the gNB via the second PUSCH.

[0200] In some cases, the information for the buffer size level comprises a delta buffer size level. In some cases, the first signaling includes the index to represent the buffer size level for remaining buffer size level. In some cases, the first signaling schedules or triggers one or more PUSCH (s) to transmit a predefined buffer size level. Alternatively, the predefined buffer size level is the minimum buffer size level for the traffic. In this case, the delta buffer size level represents a positive value, indicating there are remaining buffer size level compared to the actual buffer size level needed to be transmitted. In this case, the wireless communication node needs to schedule other PUSCH (s) to transmit the data of remaining buffer size level indicated by the delta buffer size level. Alternatively, the predefined buffer size level is the maximum buffer size level for the traffic. In this case, the delta buffer size level represents a negative value, indicating there are some redundant resources based on maximum buffer size level compared to actual buffer size level. In this case, the wireless communication node needs to re-schedule the redundant resources based on the delta buffer size level.

[0201] In some embodiments, the information of the data volume of the uplink transmission comprises an information for a scaling factor for a buffer size level. In some cases, the information for the scaling factor is based on the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) . Alternatively, the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) is based on the table for buffer size level. Alternatively,  the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) is based on the relationship mentioned before (e.g., the relationship among the buffer size level, the maximum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level, and the difference between two adjacent buffer size levels; or the relationship among the buffer size level, the maximum buffer size level of the range of the buffer size level, and a ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels) . In some cases, the information for the scaling factor represents a positive integer larger than 1. Alternatively, the first signaling indicates the information for the scaling factor by a codepoint or an index for the scaling factor. In this case, one codepoint / index corresponds to one scaling factor. For one example, the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) is 750000 Bytes. And the relationship between a codepoint / index and the scaling factor.

[0202] In this case, the first signaling includes 2 bits for scaling factor. When the data volume is 1500000 Bytes, the first signaling indicates the scaling factor is 2 by ‘00’ . Then the wireless communication node multiplies the scaling factor with the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) , i.e., 2x750000 = 1500000 Bytes to acknowledge the actual data volume.

[0203] Alternatively, the first signaling indicates the information for the scaling factor by the value of scaling factor. For one example, the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) is 750000 Bytes, and the first signaling includes 3 bits for scaling factor. When the data volume is 1500000 Bytes, the first signaling indicate ‘010’ to represent the scaling factor is 2. Then the wireless communication node multiplies the scaling factor with the maximum buffer size level (buffer status) , i.e., 2x750000 = 1500000 Bytes to acknowledge the actual data volume. In this case, ‘000’ means the buffer size level is smaller than maximum buffer size level.

[0204] In some cases, the information for the scaling factor represents a positive value smaller than 1. Alternatively, the first signaling indicates the information for the scaling factor by a codepoint or an index for the scaling factor. In this case, one codepoint / index corresponds to one scaling factor. In this case, the scaling factor is associated with a maximum buffer size level (buffer  status) . In this case, the scaling factor is associated with a predefined buffer size level (buffer status) . Alternatively, the predefined buffer size level (buffer status) is determined (indicated) by the first signaling based on the table for buffer size level. Alternatively, the predefined buffer size level (buffer status) is determined (indicated) by the first signaling based on the relationship of buffer size level mentioned before. For one example, the range of the buffer size level is [10, 1280] Bytes, so that the minimum buffer size level is 10 Bytes. Assuming the ratio between two adjacent buffer size levels is 0.5, then the relationship is expressed by

[0205] In this case, the first signaling includes 2 bits to indicate the scaling factor. If the data volume is 600 Bytes, the wireless communication terminal reports x = 6, i.e., ‘110’ in the first signaling to indicate the data volume is 640 Bytes. In this case, the predefined buffer size level is 640 Bytes. And the relationship between a codepoint / index and the scaling factor is shown as follows.

[0206] In this case, in order to minimize the gap between the reporting buffer size level (buffer status) and the actual buffer size level (buffer status) , the first signaling indicates the scaling factor is 0.95 by ‘01’ . Then the wireless communication node multiplies the scaling factor with the predefined buffer size level, i.e., 640 x 0.95 = 608 Bytes to acknowledge the actual data volume. In this case, the data volume reported to the wireless communication node is based on flooring, rounding, or ceiling operation.

[0207] In some embodiments, the information of the data volume of the uplink transmission comprises an information for a transport block size. In some cases, the information for a transport block size is the information for a preferred transport block size from the wireless communication terminal’s perspective. In this case, the wireless communication terminal reports the transport size it prefers to transmit in the following scheduled physical uplink shared channel. In some cases, the  information for a transport block size is the information for a transport block size of a physical uplink shared channel the first signaling triggered. In some cases, the transport block sizes are associated with indexes. In this case, each transport block corresponds to one index. In this case, when the first signaling transmits and indicates a transport block size by the index, then the physical uplink shared channel is triggered by the first signaling and corresponding transport block size is transmitted in this physical uplink shared channel.

[0208] In some embodiments, the information of the data volume of the uplink transmission comprises an information for a bit rate. In some cases, the bit rate is an average bit rate for uplink traffic. In some cases, the bit rate is a maximum bit rate for uplink traffic. In some cases, the bit rate is a maximum bit rate for uplink traffic. In some cases, the bit rate is a bit rate range including the minimum bit rate and maximum bit rate for uplink traffic. In some cases, the bit rate is for expressing how many bits are transmitted in one second. For example, 30Mbps, 60Mbps. In some cases, bit rate is transferred to byte rate, where the byte rate is for expressing how many bytes are transmitted in one second. For example, 3MBps, 6MBps.

[0209] In some embodiments, the information of the data volume of the uplink transmission includes at least one of:

[0214] In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is based on a table for buffer size levels. In some embodiments, the range is determined by traffic characteristic information.

[0215] In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is in type of an index for buffer size level range. In some embodiments, the correspondence of index and buffer size level range is determined by a control signaling. In some embodiments, the control signaling comprises at least one of: the higher layer parameter (s) , MAC CE signaling, and / or DCI signaling. In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is in type of minimum buffer size level of the buffer size level range. In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is in type of minimum buffer size level and maximum buffer size level of the buffer size level range.

[0230] In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is based on a table for buffer size levels. In some embodiments, the range is determined by traffic characteristic information.

[0231] In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is in type of an index for buffer size level range. In some embodiments, the correspondence of index and buffer size level range is determined by second signaling. In some embodiments, the second signaling comprises at least one of: the higher layer parameter (s) , MAC CE signaling, and / or DCI signaling. In some  embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is in type of minimum buffer size level of the buffer size level range. In some embodiments, the range of the buffer size levels is in type of minimum buffer size level and maximum buffer size level of the buffer size level range.

[0281] The First Resource of the First Signaling

[0282] In some embodiments, the first signaling is transmitted via a first resource. In some cases, the first resource includes one or more uplink channels. In some cases, the uplink channel comprises a physical uplink control channel, PUCCH. In some cases, the uplink channel comprises a physical uplink shared channel, PUSCH. In some cases, the uplink channel comprises a physical random access channel, PRACH.

[0283] In some embodiments, the first signaling is transmitted by one or more uplink channels. In some embodiments, the resource information of the one or more uplink channels is determined by the second signaling. In some cases, the second signaling comprises / is a higher layer parameter, such as RRC signaling. In some cases, the second signaling comprises / is a MAC CE signaling. In some cases, the second signaling comprises / is a DCI signaling. In some cases, the second signaling comprises a RRC signaling and DCI signaling. In some cases, the second signaling comprises a RRC signaling and MAC CE signaling.

[0284] In some embodiments, the resource information comprises resource period information providing a periodicity of the one or more uplink channels (also referred to as the resource period of the one or more uplink channels) . In some cases, there are a plurality of uplink channels in one resource period, as illustrated in FIG. 4. In some cases, there is one uplink channel in one resource period.

[0285] In some embodiments, the resource information comprises duration information providing one or more consecutive symbols, slots, transmission time intervals, subframes, or system frames. In some cases, the duration information providing consecutive slots determines a first period including downlink slots, uplink slots and self-contain slots. In this case, the uplink channels are located at uplink slots within the first period. In this case, the uplink channels are located at uplink slots and self-contained slots within the first period. In some cases, the length of the first period is smaller than the periodicity of the one or more uplink channels.

[0286] In some embodiments, the resource information comprises offset information of the one or more uplink channels. In some cases, the offset information of the one or more uplink channels is the interval between reference point and the first uplink channel. In this case, the reference point is the location that the interval is 0. In some cases, the offset information indicates an offset comprising an interval between two available candidate resources for transmitting the first  signaling in a first period of the one or more uplink channels. In some cases, the offset information indicates an offset comprising an interval between a first available candidate resource in time and another available candidate resource in a first period of the one or more uplink channels.

[0328] In some embodiments, the time location of the PUCCH is associated with the first PDCCH monitoring occasions. In some embodiments, the first symbol of the PUCCH is P symbols before the first symbol of the first PDCCH monitoring occasion, where P is an integer.

[0329] In some embodiments, the resource of the PUCCH is determined by the second signaling. In some embodiments, the resource of the PUCCH includes the time domain resource assignment of the PUCCH. In some embodiments, the time domain resource assignment includes the number of symbols, and / or the starting symbol index in one slot. In some embodiments, the resource of the PUCCH includes the frequency domain resource assignment of the PUCCH. In some embodiments, the frequency domain resource assignment includes the starting physical resource block index in one slot, and / or the number of physical resource block index.

[0330] In some embodiments, the PUCCH resources for the first signaling is determined by a plurality of PUCCH configurations. In some embodiments, the PUCCH configuration includes the time location of the PUCCH and the resource of the PUCCH. In some embodiments, one PUCCH configuration corresponding to one PUCCH resource identifier. The PUCCH configuration corresponding to a predefined PUCCH resource identifier may comprise the PUCCH resources for the first signaling transmission.

[0331] In some embodiments, the plurality of PUCCH configurations have the same periodicity value. In some embodiments, the plurality of PUCCH configurations have different offset parameters, where the offset parameters are determined by the second signaling.

[0332] In some embodiments, the PUCCH resources for the first signaling is trigger based. In some embodiments, the PUCCH resource (s) is triggered when the uplink packet arrives. In some embodiments, the PUCCH resource (s) is triggered based on the grant of a DCI signaling. In some embodiments, the DCI signaling triggers one or more PUCCH resources.

[0333] In the paragraphs below, embodiments are described with the one or more uplink channels comprising the physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) .

[0334] In some embodiments, the time location of the PUSCH is determined by the second  signaling, where the parameter (s) determining the time location includes at least one of the following:

[0335] a periodicity;

[0336] offset information;

[0337] a duration;

[0338] a validity; and / or

[0339] a transmission parameter.

[0340] In some embodiments, the time location of the PUSCH is associated with the first PDCCH monitoring occasions. In some embodiments, the first symbol of the PUSCH is P symbols before the first symbol of the first PDCCH monitoring occasion, where P is an integer.

[0341] In some embodiments, the resource of the PUSCH resource is determined by the second signaling. In some embodiments, the resource of the PUSCH resource is determined by the payload of the first signaling.

[0342] In some embodiments, the PUSCH resources for the first signaling are trigger based. In some embodiments, the PUSCH resources are triggered when the uplink packet arrives. In some embodiments, the PUSCH resource is triggered based on grant of a DCI signaling. In this case, the DCI signaling triggers one or more PUSCH resources.

[0343] Note that many aspects of the PUCCH for transmitting the first signaling can be applied to the PUSCH for transmitting the first signaling, and the configurations of the PUSCH can be ascertained by referring to the paragraphs above.

[0344] In some embodiments, the first resource (s) for the first signaling are associated with at least one of the following:

[0345] a buffer size level range; and / or

[0346] a remaining time.

[0347] In some embodiments, the first resource (s) for the first signaling are associated with buffer size level range. In some embodiments, there are multiple PUCCH resources for the first resource (s) , one part of PUCCH resources is associated with a predefined buffer size level range.

[0348] In some embodiments, if the UE transmits the first signaling in the specific PUCCH resource, the buffer size level range is determined.

[0349] In some embodiments, there are two parts of PUCCH resources within the first  resource (s) . In some embodiments, if the buffer size level is larger than a buffer size level threshold, the UE transmits the first signaling in the first part of PUCCH resources within the first resource (s) . In some embodiments, if the buffer size level is not larger than a buffer size level threshold, the UE transmits the first signaling in the second part of PUCCH resources within the first resource (s) .

[0350] In some embodiments, the first part of PUCCH resources are common resources, which is used for a plurality of UEs. In some embodiments, the second part of PUCCH resources are specific resources, which is used for a specific UE.

[0351] In some embodiments, the buffer size level threshold is predetermined or determined by a higher layer parameter.

[0352] In some embodiments, the first resource (s) for the first signaling are associated with remaining times. In some embodiments, there are multiple PUCCH resources for the first resource (s) , one part of PUCCH resources is associated with a predefined buffer remaining time threshold.

[0353] In some embodiments, if the remaining time is (or is not) larger than a time threshold, the UE transmits the first signaling in the specific part of PUCCH resources.

[0354] In some embodiments, there are two parts of PUCCH resources within the first resource (s) . In some embodiments, if the remaining time of the uplink packet (s) is larger than the time threshold, the UE transmits the first signaling in the first part of PUCCH resources within the first resource (s) . In some embodiments, if the remaining time of the uplink packet (s) is not larger than the time threshold, the UE transmits the first signaling in the second part of PUCCH resources within the first resource (s) .

[0355] In some embodiments, the first part of PUCCH resources are common resources, which is used for a plurality of UEs. In some embodiments, the second part of PUCCH resources are specific resources, which is used for a specific UE.

[0356] In some embodiments, the time threshold is predetermined or determined by a higher layer parameter.

[0357] In some embodiments, the first resource for the first signaling is associated with a buffer size level range. In some cases, there are multiple uplink channels in one resource period. In some cases, one part of uplink channels is associated with a predefined buffer size level range. In some cases, if the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the specific uplink  channels, the buffer size level range is determined. In some cases, there are two parts of uplink channels within one resource period. Alternatively, the buffer size level is larger than a buffer size level threshold, the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the first part of uplink channels in one resource period. Alternatively, the buffer size level is not larger than a buffer size level threshold, the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the second part of uplink channels within one resource period. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 10, there are 4 uplink channels in one resource period. The first two uplink channels are associated with the buffer size level larger than the buffer size level threshold. The last two uplink channels are associated with the buffer size level not larger than the buffer size level threshold. When an uplink packet arrives to an output buffer of the wireless communication, and the buffer size level not larger than the buffer size level threshold, the first signaling is transmitted in the last two uplink channel, or one of the last two uplink channel, while the buffer size level larger than the buffer size level threshold, the first signaling is transmitted in the first two uplink channel, or one of the first two uplink channel.

[0358] In some embodiments, the first resource for the first signaling is associated with remaining time of the uplink packet. In some cases, there are multiple uplink channels in one resource period. In some cases, one part of uplink channels is associated with a predefined remaining time threshold. In some cases, if the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the specific uplink channels, the remaining time range of uplink packet is determined. In some cases, there are two parts of uplink channels within one resource period. Alternatively, the remaining time of the uplink packet is not larger than a remaining time threshold, the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the first part of uplink channels in one resource period. Alternatively, the remaining time of the uplink packet is larger than remaining time threshold, the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the second part of uplink channels within one resource period. For example, as illustrated in FIG. 11, there are 4 uplink channels in one resource period. The first two uplink channels are associated with the remaining time of the uplink packet not larger than the remaining time threshold. The last two uplink channels are associated with the remaining time of the uplink packet larger than the remaining time threshold. When the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling for the uplink packet, and the remaining time of the uplink packet not larger than the remaining  time threshold, the first signaling is transmitted in the first two uplink channel, or one of the first two uplink channel, while the remaining time of the uplink packet larger than the remaining time threshold, the first signaling is transmitted in the last two uplink channel, or one of the last two uplink channel.

[0359] In some embodiments, the buffer size level threshold is determined by a higher layer parameter. In some embodiments, the buffer size level threshold is determined by a UE capability. In some embodiments, the remaining time threshold is determined by a higher layer parameter. In some embodiments, the remaining time threshold is determined by a UE capability.

[0360] In some embodiments, there are multiple uplink channels in one resource period. In some cases, one part of uplink channels are common uplink channels for the wireless communication terminals served by one wireless communication node. In some cases, another part of uplink channels are dedicated uplink channels for one wireless communication terminals. In some cases, the common uplink channel and the dedicated uplink channels are associated with the buffer size level. Alternatively, the buffer size level is larger than a buffer size level threshold, and the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the dedicated uplink channels in one resource period. Alternatively, the buffer size level is not larger than a buffer size level threshold, and the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the common uplink channels within one resource period. In some cases, the common uplink channel and the dedicated uplink channels are associated with the remaining time. Alternatively, the remaining time of the uplink packet is not larger than a remaining time threshold, and the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the dedicated uplink channels in one resource period. Alternatively, the remaining time of the uplink packet is larger than remaining time threshold, and the wireless communication terminal transmits the first signaling in the common uplink channels within one resource period.

[0361] Aspect 4:

[0362] The Activation / Deactivation for the First Resources of the First Signaling

[0363] In some embodiments, when the UE transmits the first signaling in a predefined part of the first resource, a subsequent part of the first resource in the same resource period are deactivated. In some cases, the predefined part of the first resource is determined by the transmission parameters. For example, there are N resources in one resource period, where N is a positive  integer. When the first signaling is transmitted in one resource (uplink channel) within one resource period, the rest resources / uplink channels (e.g., N-1 consecutive resources) subsequent to said certain resource in the first resource in one resource period may be deactivated. For another example, there are N resources in one resource period, where N is a positive integer. When the first signaling is transmitted in K resources / uplink channels determined by the transmission parameters within one resource period, the rest resources / uplink channels (e.g., N-K consecutive resources) subsequent to last resource / uplink channel transmitting the first signaling in the first resource in one resource period may be deactivated.

[0364] In some embodiments, when the wireless communication terminal does not transmit the first signaling in a predefined part of the first resource, a subsequent part of the first resource in a resource period are activated. In some embodiments, the subsequent resources in a resource period are activated when the first signaling is not transmitted in previous resources within the resource period. In some embodiments, the first signaling is transmitted one time within one resource period. In some embodiments, the resource period is determined by the resource period information described above.

[0365] In some embodiments, the activation or deactivation for the first resource of the first signaling is associated with a predefined time period. In some cases, the predefined time period is determined by a higher layer parameter. In some cases, the predefined time period includes at least one of a starting position, a length information or an ending position. In this case, the starting position is the starting time point of the predefined time period. In this case, the starting position is the unit of the first configured uplink channel in the resource period. In this case, the starting position is the unit of PUSCH scheduled by DCI signaling. In this case, the starting position is the unit of the last uplink channel transmitting the first signaling. In this case, the unit includes a symbol, slot, transmission time interval, subframe, system frame, millisecond, or second.

[0366] In this case, the ending position is the ending time point of the predefined time period. In this case, the ending position is the unit of the last uplink channel not transmitting the first signaling. In this case, the ending position is the unit of the first uplink channel transmitting the first signaling. In this case, the unit includes a symbol, slot, transmission time interval, subframe, system frame, millisecond, or second.

[0367] In this case, the length information is the length of the predefined time period. In this  case, the unit includes a symbol, slot, transmission time interval, subframe, system frame, millisecond, or second.

[0368] Alternatively, the predefined time period comprises a starting position and a length information. Alternatively, the predefined time period comprises a starting position and an ending position.

[0369] In some embodiments, the uplink channels in the predefined time period are deactivated. In some embodiments, the uplink channels in the predefined time period are activated. In some cases, the uplink channels are deactivated before a PUSCH transmission scheduled by DCI signaling in the predefined time period. In this case, after the wireless communication terminal transmits PUSCH scheduled by DCI signaling in the predefined time period, the uplink channels after the PUSCH are activated in the predefined time period.

[0370] In some embodiments, there are a plurality of time periods for the uplink channels (first resource) . In some cases, the plurality of time periods includes the predefined time period and a resume time period. In some cases, the length resume time period is smaller than the length of the predefined time period. In some cases, the resume time period includes at least one of a starting position, a length information or an ending position. In this case, the starting position is the starting time point of the resume time period. In this case, the ending position is the ending time point of the resume time period. In this case, the length information is the length of the resume time period. Alternatively, the resume time period comprises a starting position and a length information. Alternatively, the resume time period comprises a starting position and an ending position.

[0371] In some cases, the uplink channels in the predefined period are deactivated. In some cases, the uplink channels in the predefined period and in the resume time period are activated. In some cases, the uplink channels in the predefined period and not in the resume time period are deactivated. In this case, after the wireless communication terminal transmits PUSCH scheduled by DCI signaling in the predefined time period, the resume time period is activated, where uplink channels after PUSCH in the resume time period are activated. In some cases, the starting position of the resume time period is configured by the high layer parameter. In this case, there exists an interval between the starting position of the predefined time period and the resume time period. In this case, there exists an interval between the ending position of the predefined time period and the resume time period.Examples:

[0372] Example 1: The first signaling carries the information for reporting the data volume of the uplink packet (s)

[0373] Case 1-1: The first signaling carries parts of bits for the index of a buffer size level in the buffer size level table.

[0374] As illustrated in FIG. 2, the UE transmits the UCI and BSR to the gNB without receiving DCI between the transmissions of the UCI and BSR. The UCI carries the first part (e.g., 4 MSB) of the index indicating the buffer size level, and the BSR carries the second part (e.g., 4 LSB (least significant bit) ) of the index the buffer size level.

[0375] Case 1-2: The first signaling carries an index corresponds to coarse buffer size level in the buffer size level table.

[0376] As illustrated in FIG. 3, the UE sequentially transmits the UCI to the gNB, receives the first DCI from the gNB, transmits the first PUSCH to the gNB, receives the second DCI from the BS, and transmits the second PUSCH to the gNB. The UCI indicates a coarse buffer size level. The gNB schedules the first PUSCH based on the coarse buffer size level via the first DCI, to allow the UE to transmit a part of uplink data to the gNB via the first PUSCH. The first PUSCH also carries a padding BSR indicating the remaining buffer size. The gNB schedules the second PUSCH based on the padding BSR via the second DCI, to allow the UE to transmit the remaining uplink data to the gNB via the second PUSCH.

[0377] Case 1-3: The first signaling carries an index of the buffer size level in the buffer size level table.

[0378] As illustrated in FIG. 12, the UE sequentially transmits the UCI to the gNB, receives the first DCI from the gNB, transmits the PUSCH to the gNB, and receives the second DCI from the BS. The UCI indicates a buffer size level. The gNB schedules the PUSCH based on the buffer size level via the first DCI, to allow the UE to transmit the uplink packet to the gNB via the PUSCH.

[0379] Example 2: The single PUCCH resource configuration of the first signaling

[0380] In some embodiments, the periodicity parameter is configured in the RRC signaling, the first period is determined by the periodicity parameter.

[0381] In some embodiments, the duration parameter is configured in the RRC signaling to  provide more than one transmission occasions for UCI transmission within one first period. In some embodiments, the duration parameter provides a number of consecutive slots within one first period. In some embodiments, the UL slots within the number of consecutive slots are available candidate resources for the first signaling transmission.

[0382] As illustrated in FIG. 13, a duration (e.g., a first period) has multiple candidate resources used in the resource period (e.g., periodicity) for the first signaling transmission. In this case, the duration is determined by the second signaling.

[0383] In some embodiments, an offset parameter for the first resource is determined by the second signaling. In some embodiments, the interval between two available candidate resource may be determined by the offset parameter (see FIG. 14) .

[0384] In some embodiments, offsets between the first available candidate resource and another available candidate resource may be determined by the offset parameter (see FIG. 15) . For example, the offset (i.e., Offset1) between the first candidate resource and the second candidate resource is determined by a first offset parameter, and the offset (i.e., Offset2) between the first candidate resource and the third candidate resource is determined by a second offset parameter.

[0385] In some embodiments, a valid parameter in the validity information provides the available candidate resources for the first signal transmission. In some cases, the validity information is determined by the second signaling. In some embodiments, the valid parameter includes start and length indicator value (SLIV) . In some embodiments, the valid parameter includes a bitmap for consecutive slots in one first period. In some embodiments, the valid parameter includes an interval between two available candidate resources. In some embodiments, the valid parameter includes an interval between the first available candidate resource and another available candidate resource.

[0386] In some embodiments, a transmission parameter in the transmission information provides the one or more resources for actual first signaling transmission within available candidate resources. In some embodiments, the resources for actual first signaling transmission can be determined by the maximum transmission number and offset.

[0387] As illustrated in FIG. 9, there are different PUCCH configurations. The PUCCH configurations determines different periodic resources with the same periodicity (e.g., provided by resource period information) and different offsets (e.g., provided by offset information) .

[0388] Example 3: Time location of PUCCH / PUSCH resources determination

[0389] In some embodiments, the time location is determined by:

[0390] where nf denotes the system frame number,  denotes the number of slots in one system frame,  denotes the slot number in one system frame, Noffset denotes the offset parameter and Nperiodicity denotes the periodicity parameter.

[0391] In some embodiments, the content of a first signaling includes information of uplink packet / TB size, information of PDCCH monitoring occasions and / or uplink scheduling information.

[0392] In some embodiments, the first resource of the first signaling is determined by one or more PUSCH / PUCCH configurations and / or triggering conditions.

[0399] In an embodiment, the storage unit 410 and the program code 412 may be omitted. The processor 400 may include a storage unit with stored program code.

[0400] The processor 400 may implement any steps or operations described in exemplified  embodiments on the wireless communication node 40, e.g., via executing the program code 412.

[0401] The communication unit 420 may be a transceiver. The communication unit 420 may as an alternative or in addition be combining a transmitting unit and a receiving unit configured to transmit and to receive, respectively, signals, messages, or information to and from a wireless communication node or a wireless communication terminal.

[0402] In some embodiments, the wireless communication node 40 may be used to perform the operations of the base station described in this disclosure. In some embodiments, the processor 400 and the communication unit 420 collaboratively perform the operations described in this disclosure. For example, the processor 400 performs operations and transmit or receive signals through the communication unit 420.

[0403] A wireless communication method is also provided according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In an embodiment, the wireless communication method may be performed by using a wireless communication terminal (e.g., a UE) . In an embodiment, the wireless communication terminal may be implemented by using the wireless communication terminal 30 described in this disclosure, but is not limited thereto.

[0404] Referring to FIG. 18, in an embodiment, the wireless communication method includes: transmitting, by a wireless communication terminal to a wireless communication node, a first signaling via a first resource, wherein the first signaling is associated with at least one of information of a data volume of an uplink transmission, information for monitoring a physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, or information for an uplink scheduling.

[0405] Details in this regard can be ascertained with reference to the paragraphs above, and will not be repeated herein.

[0406] Another wireless communication method is also provided according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. In an embodiment, the wireless communication method may be performed by using a wireless communication node (e.g., a BS or a gNB) . In an embodiment, the wireless communication node may be implemented by using the wireless communication node 40 described in this disclosure, but is not limited thereto.

[0407] Referring to FIG. 19, in an embodiment, the wireless communication method includes: receiving, by a wireless communication node from a wireless communication terminal, a first signaling via a first resource, wherein the first signaling is associated with at least one of  information of a data volume of an uplink transmission, information for monitoring a physical downlink control channel, PDCCH, or information for an uplink scheduling.

[0408] Details in this regard can be ascertained with reference to the paragraphs above, and will not be repeated herein.

[0409] In some embodiments, the wireless communication terminal used in the present disclosure may indicate the UE described above.

[0410] In some embodiments, the wireless communication node used in the present disclosure may indicate the, BS, or gNB described above.

[0411] While various embodiments of the present disclosure have been described above, it should be understood that they have been presented by way of example only, and not by way of limitation. Likewise, the various diagrams may depict an example architecture or configuration, which are provided to enable persons of ordinary skill in the art to understand exemplary features and functions of the present disclosure. Such persons would understand, however, that the present disclosure is not restricted to the illustrated example architectures or configurations, but can be implemented using a variety of alternative architectures and configurations. Additionally, as would be understood by persons of ordinary skill in the art, one or more features of one embodiment can be combined with one or more features of another embodiment described herein. Thus, the breadth and scope of the present disclosure should not be limited by any one of the above-described exemplary embodiments.

[0412] It is understood that, in the present disclosure, the term “and / or” or symbol “ / ” may include any and all combinations of one or more of the associated listed items. For example, A and / or B and / or C includes any and all combinations of one or more of A, B, and C, including A, B, C, A and B, A and C, B and C, and a combination of A and B and C. Likewise, A / B / C includes any and all combinations of one or more of A, B, and C, including A, B, C, A and B, A and C, B and C, and a combination of A and B and C.

[0413] It is also understood that any reference to an element herein using a designation such as "first, " "second, " and so forth does not generally limit the quantity or order of those elements. Rather, these designations can be used herein as a convenient means of distinguishing between two or more elements or instances of an element. Thus, a reference to first and second elements does not mean that only two elements can be employed, or that the first element must precede the  second element in some manner.

[0414] Additionally, a person having ordinary skill in the art would understand that information and signals can be represented using any one of a variety of different technologies and techniques. For example, data, instructions, commands, information, signals, bits and symbols, for example, which may be referenced in the above description can be represented by voltages, currents, electromagnetic waves, magnetic fields or particles, optical fields or particles, or any combination thereof.

[0415] A skilled person would further appreciate that any one of the various illustrative logical blocks, units, processors, means, circuits, methods and functions described in connection with the aspects disclosed herein can be implemented by electronic hardware (e.g., a digital implementation, an analog implementation, or a combination of the two) , firmware, various forms of program or design code incorporating instructions (which can be referred to herein, for convenience, as "software" or a "software unit” ) , or any combination of these techniques.

[0416] To clearly illustrate this interchangeability of hardware, firmware and software, various illustrative components, blocks, units, circuits, operations, and steps have been described above generally in terms of their functionality. Whether such functionality is implemented as hardware, firmware or software, or a combination of these techniques, depends upon the particular application and design constraints imposed on the overall system. Skilled artisans can implement the described functionality in various ways for each particular application, but such implementation decisions do not cause a departure from the scope of the present disclosure. In accordance with various embodiments, a processor, device, component, circuit, structure, machine, unit, etc. can be configured to perform one or more of the functions described herein. The term “configured to” or “configured for” as used herein with respect to a specified operation or function refers to a processor, device, component, circuit, structure, machine, unit, etc. that is physically constructed, programmed and / or arranged to perform the specified operation or function.

[0417] Furthermore, a skilled person would understand that various illustrative logical blocks, units, devices, components and circuits described herein can be implemented within or performed by an integrated circuit (IC) that can include a general-purpose processor, a digital signal processor (DSP) , an application specific integrated circuit (ASIC) , a field programmable gate array (FPGA) or other programmable logic device, or any combination thereof. The logical blocks, units, and  circuits can further include antennas and / or transceivers to communicate with various components within the network or within the device. A general-purpose processor can be a microprocessor, but in the alternative, the processor can be any conventional processor, controller, or state machine. A processor can also be implemented as a combination of computing devices, e.g., a combination of a DSP and a microprocessor, a plurality of microprocessors, one or more microprocessors in conjunction with a DSP core, or any other suitable configuration to perform the functions described herein. If implemented in software, the functions can be stored as one or more instructions or code on a computer-readable medium. Thus, the steps or operations of a method or algorithm disclosed herein can be implemented as software stored on a computer-readable medium.

[0418] Computer-readable media includes both computer storage media and communication media including any medium that can be enabled to transfer a computer program or code from one place to another. A storage media can be any available media that can be accessed by a computer. By way of example, and not limitation, such computer-readable media can include RAM, ROM, EEPROM, CD-ROM or other optical disk storage, magnetic disk storage or other magnetic storage devices, or any other medium that can be used to store desired program code in the form of instructions or data structures and that can be accessed by a computer.

[0419] In this document, the term "unit" as used herein, refers to software, firmware, hardware, and any combination of these elements for performing the associated functions described herein. Additionally, for purpose of discussion, the various units are described as discrete units; however, as would be apparent to one of ordinary skill in the art, two or more units may be combined to form a single unit that performs the associated functions according to embodiments of the present disclosure.

[0420] Additionally, memory or other storage, as well as communication components, may be employed in embodiments of the present disclosure. It will be appreciated that, for clarity purposes, the above description has described embodiments of the present disclosure with reference to different functional units and processors. However, it will be apparent that any suitable distribution of functionality between different functional units, processing logic elements or domains may be used without detracting from the present disclosure. For example, functionality illustrated to be performed by separate processing logic elements, or controllers, may be performed by the same processing logic element, or controller. Hence, references to specific functional units are only  references to a suitable means for providing the described functionality, rather than indicative of a strict logical or physical structure or organization.

[0421] Various modifications to the implementations described in this disclosure will be readily apparent to those skilled in the art, and the general principles defined herein can be applied to other implementations without departing from the scope of the claims. Thus, the disclosure is not intended to be limited to the implementations shown herein, but is to be accorded the widest scope consistent with the novel features and principles disclosed herein, as recited in the claims below.
