Description

[0001] DOOR UPPER PROFILE

[0002] Field of the Invention

[0003] The present invention relates to the door upper profile used in trailer and semi-trailer type vehicles.

[0004] In particular, the present invention relates to a rear panel structure associated with at least one rear bollard, which is a post provided to carry at least one chassis and the upper structure forming the skeleton, by connecting with the said chassis, in trailer and semi-trailer type trailers.

[0005] State of the Art

[0006] In the state of the art, the part used in the rain gutter to prevent the incoming rain water from leaking into the vehicle and to allow the rain to accumulate and flow down the sides of the vehicle causes extra material costs and labor time. Additionally, mounting the rain gutter on top of the vehicle causes the vehicle height to increase. Since the vehicles on which rain gutters are used are generally high vehicles, the mentioned situation creates a negative impact on the clearance calculation.

[0007] The currently used door upper profile consists of interlocking profiles. This creates 5 different assembly complexes at different roof lifting heights. Since there are interlocking elements in the profile sections, the kg / m ratios of the profiles are high. Since the profiles formed as a whole are interlocking, there is a risk of leakage. For this reason, mastic sealing application is done after the complete construction. Mastic sealing application must be done without error. If done incorrectly, it may cause quality problems.

[0008] The fitting process and mastic sealing process of the profiles that make up the door upper profile increases labor and installation time.

[0009] The stresses formed on the door upper profile expose the insert structures to constant dynamic stress. This situation will lead to loosening in the transitions in the future.

[0010] As a result due to the abovementioned disadvantages and the insufficiency of the current solutions regarding the subject matter, a development is required to be made in the relevant technical field. Object of the Invention

[0011] The present invention aims to solve the above-mentioned negativities and it is inspired by the current situation

[0012] The main object of the present invention is to comprise at least one rear door that allows loading by opening and closing when the trailer is loaded from the rear to allow for different roof lifting heights, and at least one door upper profile manufactured as a single piece and with a predetermined number of steps to allow the rear door to be connected to the rear bollard. This allows for different roof heights while providing a lightweight and leak-proof structure.

[0013] The structural and characteristic features of the present invention will be understood clearly by the following drawings and the detailed description made with reference to these drawings and therefore the evaluation shall be made by taking these figures and the detailed description into consideration.

[0014] Figures Clarifying the Invention

[0027] Detailed Description of the Invention

[0028] In this detailed description the preferred embodiment of the rear panel structure (10) of the present invention associated with at least one rear bollard (4), which is a post provided to carry at least one chassis (5) and the upper structure forming the skeleton, in vehicles, especially in trailer and semi-trailer type trailers, by connecting with the said chassis (5), are explained only for the purpose of better understanding the subject.

[0029] Figure 1 shows the view of the trailer to which a rear panel structure (10), which is the subject of the invention, is connected. Accordingly, the rear panel structure (10) is fixedly connected to the rotational movement of the rear doors (3) connected to the rear bollards (4) mounted on the chassis (5). The rear panel structure (10) comprises a rear door (3) that allows loading by opening and closing when the trailer is loaded from the rear, in order to allow for different roof lifting heights, and at least one door upper profile (1 ) manufactured as a single piece and containing a predetermined number of steps to allow the rear door (3) to join with the rear bollard (4). During driving, the chassis (5) torsions ensure the structural integrity of the rear panel structure (10) and the increased strength of the door upper profile (1 ) provides a more robust and rigid behavior against stresses. In order to lock the rear doors (3), the beak lock shaft (6) located inside the rear door locks the door by compressing the profile pins (2) placed inside the door upper profile (1)-

[0030] With this entire structure, the sealing problem occurring in the profile joints has been eliminated. Torsional rigidity has been increased by designing the door upper profile (1 ) section as a single piece, and the kg / m ratio has been reduced since there are no interlocking elements. This reduced labor time and costs. In addition, a more durable structure was obtained and the need for raw materials was reduced by decreasing the kg / m ratio.
