[0088] The closure assembly 104 comprises a cap portion 105, a lid 106 and a support portion 112. The cap portion 105 and support portion 112 are preferably formed integrally but need not be. The lid 106 is movable relative to the cap portion 105 (and the support portion 112) between open and closed positions, preferably by rotation about an axis. However movement between open and closed positions other than by rotation about an axis is within the scope of the invention.

27. A closure assembly of claim 26 wherein at least one gap is defined by more than one second arm.

28. A closure assembly of any one of claims 24 to 27 comprising at least one secondary void for receiving ancillary items, each at least one secondary void defined by at least one second arm.

29. A closure assembly of claim 28 when dependent on claim 26 wherein at least one gap provides access to at least one secondary void.

30. A closure assembly of any one of claims 24 to 29 when dependent on claim 23 wherein the or at least one of the at least one second arm defines at least a part of the section.

A closure assembly of any one of the previous claims comprising a blocking member mounted on one of the lid and the cap portion and movable between a blocking position and an non-blocking position, wherein, when the lid is closed and the blocking member is in the blocking position, a part of the blocking member overlies a part of the other of the lid and the cap portion and prevents substantial movement of the lid from the closed position toward the open position.

32. A closure assembly of any one of the previous claims wherein the lid rotates about an axis between open and closed positions.

A closure assembly for attachment to an open end of a container to close the open end, the closure assembly comprising:50.a cap portion comprising a support portion at least partially defining a support void for engagement with a support portion;51.a passageway extending from the support void to an opening;52.an arm at least partially defining the passageway;53.the arm at least partially defining a secondary void to accept ancillary items,54.the arm being free at one end and defining a secondary opening to the secondary void.

39. A closure assembly of claim 38 wherein a portion of the arm at least partially defines a section of the passageway of reduced size compared the size of the passageway on at least one side of the section.

40. A closure assembly of claim 38 or claim 39 wherein a portion of the arm at least partially defines a section of the passageway of reduced size compared the size of the passageway on both sides of the side of the section.

41. A closure assembly of any one of claims 38 to 40 wherein the arm is flexible or movable relative to the cap portion and the size of the secondary opening may be increased by flexing the arm or otherwise moving the arm relative to the cap portion.

A container comprising:59.a bottle having an interior chamber, a closed end, an open end, a bottle cap portion with a pivoting lid; the pivoting lid being spring activated 5683-20251117-specification60.- 20 -61.and lockable.62.a hook with an integrated retaining / attachment clip, the hook containing a locking lug to lock the lid open; a secondary sliding clip connected to the hook to lock the lid closed; a void to accept O-rings, straps or buckles.

43. A container of claim 42 wherein the locking lug release is operable by flexing the hook.

44. A container of claim 42 or claim 43 wherein when the hook is connected to an O-ring or bar the pivot of the lid is not fully operable.

45. A container of any one of claims 42 to 44 wherein the sliding clip must be open, and the hook disconnected for the pivot lid to open substantially to release sand and for the lid to be locked open.

46. A container of any one of claim 42 to 45 wherein the bottle cap portion comprises a water-resistant seal around the pivoting lid.
