[0001] The present invention relates to a leg cover and a cover body.

[0002] In recent years, as an item of leg fashion, there is a leg cover that covers the part from above the knees to the heels of the legs. The leg cover covers the part while being separated from the body and without constricting the body, and prevents the exposure of the shape of the legs.

[0003] The leg cover is formed in a tubular shape with a length from above the knees to the heels of the legs, and is worn by being locked to a supporter worn on the legs. According to the fourth embodiment, the leg cover 1 is provided with a shape-retaining member 200 in a manner such that the larger diameter side is at the upper end of the cover member 100, and the smaller diameter side is at the lower end of the cover member 100, so that when worn, the shape-retaining member 200 is not visible from the outside through the opening 103 at the upper end 102. According to the fifth embodiment, the leg cover 1 is fixed to the cover member 100 only at the large-diameter end 202 of the shape-retaining member 200, and since the part of the tapered cylindrical shape other than the large-diameter end 202 does not come into contact with the inner circumference 108 of the cover member 100, the shape-retaining member 200 does not adversely affect the outer surface 106 of the cover member 100 in any part other than the upper end 102 of the cover member 100. <Sixth Embodiment> In the sixth embodiment of the present disclosure, the leg cover 1 is fastened to the supporter 300 by one or more buttons 310 in any one of the first to fifth embodiments, and the cover member 100 is provided with a buttonhole 110 for fastening to the button 310 of the supporter 300, at a position where the upper end of the buttonhole 110 coincides with or partially overlaps with the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200.According to the sixth embodiment, the leg cover 1 is provided with a buttonhole 110 for fastening the cover member 100 to one or more buttons provided on the supporter, so that it can be fastened to the supporter 300 by the button 310. Furthermore, the cover member 100 is provided with the buttonhole 110 at a position where the upper end of the buttonhole 110 coincides with, or partially overlaps with, the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200 fixed to the cover member 100, so that the lower end of the shape-retaining member 200 can rest on the protruding portion 312 of the button 310. That is, since the shape-retaining member 200 is supported by the button 310, the load on the cover member 100 related to the shape-retaining member 200 can be received and distributed by the supporter 300 via the button 310. This makes it possible to suppress wrinkles and sagging between the upper end 102 of the cover member 100 and the buttonhole 110. <Seventh Embodiment> In the seventh embodiment of the present disclosure, the leg cover 1, in any one of the first to sixth embodiments, has a cover member 100 made of a stretchable knit material or a thin fabric. According to the seventh embodiment, even stretchable knit material or a thin fabric, which could not be used as a lining because its softness would cause the shape of the lining to show through the surface of the leg cover and negatively affect its appearance, can be used as the fabric for the cover member 100 without a lining, as the shape-retaining member 200 can maintain the circular shape of the opening 103 and does not negatively affect its appearance. This makes it possible to construct the cover member 100 from a wider range of materials and increase the variety of leg covers. <Eighth Embodiment> In the eighth embodiment of the present disclosure, the leg cover 1, in any one of the first to seventh embodiments, has a shape-retaining member 200 made of an elastic material. According to the eighth aspect, since the leg cover 1 has a shape-retaining member 200 made of an elastic material, even if a load is applied to a part of the upper end 102 of the cover member 100, the load can be absorbed by the elasticity of the shape-retaining member 200, so that the opening 103 of the cover member 100 can be kept in a circular shape. Furthermore, even if a part of the upper end 102 of the cover member 100 is bent, it can be restored to its original circular shape by the elasticity of the shape-retaining member 200.<Ninth Embodiment> In the ninth embodiment of the present disclosure, the leg cover 1 is configured such that the shape-retaining member 200 includes two curved rubber members 210. According to the ninth embodiment, since the shape-retaining member 200 of the leg cover 1 includes two curved rubber members 210, the two rubber members 210 can be sewn together at their ends in the longitudinal direction to form a ring, thereby forming a tapered cylindrical shape. <Tenth Embodiment> In the tenth embodiment of the present disclosure, the leg cover 1 is foldable flat. According to the tenth embodiment, since the shape-retaining member 200 of the leg cover 1 is made of an elastic material, it can be folded flat when not being worn. This allows it to be compactly stored or carried, and does not require a large storage space. Because the shape-retaining member 200 is a tapered cylindrical shape composed of two curved flat rubber members 210, the upper end portion 202 of the leg cover 1 becomes an upwardly convex arc, allowing it to be folded flat. <Eleventh Embodiment> The cover body according to the eleventh embodiment of the present disclosure is a cover body used for a leg cover, and includes a cover member 100 which is cylindrical and through which the aforementioned portion of the leg L is inserted, covering the leg L without tightening, and a shape-retaining member 200 which is provided inside the cover member 100 and has a tapered cylindrical shape, and in the folded state, the upper end of the cover member 100 becomes an upwardly convex arc. According to the eleventh embodiment, the cover body is worn by being fastened to a supporter 300 attached to or above the knee, thereby constituting the leg cover of the first embodiment and achieving the same effect.

Claims

1. A leg cover that covers the portion of the leg from above the knee down without constricting the leg, comprising: a tubular cover member through which the aforementioned portion of the leg is inserted and which covers the leg without constricting the leg; a supporter that is attached to or above the knee of the leg and locks the cover member in place; and a tapered cylindrical shape retaining member provided inside the cover member.

2. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the shape-retaining member is provided along the inner circumference of the cover member.

3. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the shape-retaining member is provided at the upper end of the cover member.

4. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the shape-retaining member is provided in such a orientation that the larger diameter side of the tapered cylindrical shape is on the upper end side of the cover member, and the smaller diameter side of the shape-retaining member is on the lower end side of the cover member.

5. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the shape-retaining member is fixed to the cover member only at the end on the larger diameter side of the tapered cylindrical shape.

6. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the cover member is fastened to one or more buttons provided on the supporter, and the cover member is provided with a buttonhole for fastening to the button, such that the upper end of the buttonhole coincides with or partially overlaps with the lower end of the shape-retaining member.

7. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the cover member is made of a stretchable knit material or a thin fabric.

8. The leg cover according to claim 1, wherein the shape-retaining member is made of an elastic material.

9. The leg cover according to claim 8, wherein the shape-retaining member comprises two curved rubber members.

10. The leg cover according to claim 8, which is foldable flat.

11. A cover body used in a leg cover, comprising a cover member that is cylindrical in shape, through which a leg is inserted, and that covers the leg without tightening it, and a shape-retaining member provided inside the cover member and having a tapered cylindrical shape, wherein when folded, the upper end of the cover member has an upwardly convex arc shape.
