Case for mobile computing devices with independent processor and user interface with data protocol stack

Abstract

Systems and methods are disclosed for generating and governing standardized datasets using a Value Schema System (VSS). The VSS receives event data records from one or more data sources and generates common data schemas (CDSs) referencing standardized vocabularies and dictionaries. Based on the CDSs, the VSS constructs transactional data schemas (TDSs), issues data certificates identifying data owners, and associates certified event data with the data certificates. The VSS generates schema-compliant datasets structured according to the TDSs and stores the datasets in a data store for interoperable use. When a computing system requests access to a dataset, the VSS retrieves the corresponding data certificate, verifies ownership-based access conditions, determines dataset conformance to the TDS, and, upon successful verification, provides authorized access and enables cross-system use. In some embodiments, event data records may be generated by a mobile computing case having an independent processor.
