Track assembly for shower door and shower enclosure comprising same

Abstract

The present disclosure provides a track assembly for a shower door, comprising at least one roller assembly, at least one closer, and a track. The roller assembly comprises a roller and an anti-derailment member; the roller is accommodated in the anti-derailment member and passes through the anti-derailment member to be seated above the track to reciprocate on the track in a first direction; the anti-derailment member is provided with a limiting block protruding toward the track in a second direction which is perpendicular to the first direction; the track is provided with a first accommodating cavity and limiting edges, the first accommodating cavity has an upward opening, and the limiting edges are arranged on both sides of the opening and partially cover the opening; the closer is entirely hidden in the first accommodating cavity; the limiting block extend into the first accommodating cavity and is engaged with the limiting edges to prevent the roller assembly from detaching from the track, and the limiting block is adapted to engage with the closer to provide a buffering force; the roller is in roll contact with only the limiting edges of the track. Thus, the esthetic and simple appearance of the track assembly is achieved while ensuring the stable and reliable operation of the roller assembly.
