Abstract
The present invention relates to a silicon-carbon composite comprising: porous activated carbon; and a silicon coating layer present on the outer surface of at least one of an inner surface of pores and a particle surface of the porous activated carbon, wherein a weight increase rate thereof measured according to a silicon-carbon composite analysis method is 5.00% or less, the silicon-carbon composite analysis method comprising the steps of: under an air atmosphere, (S1) heating a silicon-carbon composite from room temperature to 200°C to 500°C; (S2) holding the temperature range for 30 minutes to 5 hours; and (S3) heating from the temperature range to 900°C or higher, wherein the weight increase rate of the silicon-carbon composite is measured by thermogravimetric analysis.
