Abstract

Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a UE, a network entity, a processor for wireless communication, and methods for enhancing sounding reference signal (SRS) coverage. In example method, the UE receives an SRS resource configuration indicating an SRS resource with a configured number of repetitions, or an SRS resource set configuration indicating one or more SRS resources. The UE transmits the SRS resource or the one or more SRS resources within the SRS resource set across multiple slots based on a determination that a required number of symbols for SRS repetition or a required number of symbols for SRS transmission for the one or more SRS resources within the SRS resource set exceeds available symbols of a first slot, and that at least one next adjacent slot to the first slot is an uplink (UL) slot.
