Abstract

The present invention generally relates to canine IgG antibodies or antigen binding proteins thereof, comprising a canine IgG modified fragment crystallizable region (Fc region) that has an enhanced half-life due to one or more specific amino acid substitutions in the Fc region. Specifically, the present invention relates to canine antibodies that bind canine interleukin-31 receptor alpha (IL31RA), comprising a canine fragment crystallizable region (cFc) that comprises an amino acid residue other than glutamine (Q) at position 311. Pharmaceutical compositions that comprise these antibodies are also provided.
